kaketama, you are right but that is never how it plays out here, especially Okinawa. The guy was a drunk who made a very stupid choice. He should and will be punished. Waiting to see if this one is overblown.

The comments of some here are a clear indication of what is wrong with the world. Take everything the government tells you at face value, never question anything and tell others not to worry about it. Baaaaaaaa!!!

I am speaking on personally observed experiences and it seems that people here are quick to avoid shame or a scandal. An old girlfriend fell for a call stating that she did not fulfill her book club obligation and that she had to come to Tokyo and meet this man on a certain train platform. He told her to bring her bank book and that he could "make it go away" without her job or family finding out. I hate to think of how she would have been taken had I not been there to stop her.

Taking a shower and putting a towel on her head and then walking around the house naked "drip drying" as she goes. I love the flesh parade but the waterspots and my wet socks are annoying. Also saying samui, samui over and over again won't make the cold go away. I and everyone else around us knows it is cold.

ilcub76 summed it all up very nicely. If you are a foreigner for this or most disputes here ya better stear clear. You would be the bad guy.

Yes, the US does stick it's nose into many things be it right or wrong. I would love to hear who you would suggest straighten this out if it escalates. Would you lead the charge?

Besides the sneezing and coughing on the food, the little kiddies who "finger" every dish and ask what is this? Seen a few touch something and then wipe it off on a serving spoon.

The terrorists have already won. Our way of travel and life have been changed forever. My guess is that it got through lax security and the owner stashed it when they discovered that they had it. Just a guess.
