Please understand this very simple fact. The girls may be singing the songs, but they are nothing more then props, showpieces for the people putting it on. They aren't the ones making the money. The producers/handlers/songwriters are the ones getting the cash.

Its amazing how you can forget things. I remember once, I walked out of my house, forgetting my keys (fortunately I hadn't locked the door) realizing this, I went back into the house to get em. The moment I went back into my house, I realized, I couldn't remember why I had come back in. I knew it was important, but simply couldn't remember. Walked out again before realizing I had forgotten my keys. Yeah, I felt really stupid. Point being, people forget things all the time. Admittedly that bag was a particularly bad thing to forget. But still, it happens. What is not acceptable, was the lack of reporting by the police on the subject. I don't care how foolish it makes you seem, that is something that by law they are required to report.

Totally agree. Either divorce your husband, or keep it together. You really don't want to go the affair route. As cleo said, it may be fun for awhile, but it almost always ends up making your situation much worse.

This is different from Libs how precisely? Libs are always wanting more government involvement, except for law enforcement issues.

Rush is a pretty smart guy. I suspect he had several reasons for thinking this. First, obviously, it hurts the Dems having him in there. Rather like the Republicans with Craig a few years ago. Another reason might be that, despite the mans obvious perversion, which he made apparent, you have to wonder whether what he did is any worse then certain others such as Maxine Waters and Charlie Rangel.
Sorry, but in a public official, this is completely unacceptable. Its hugely different when you, a private citizen lie to protect What he did wasn't all that big a deal, but when he started lying to the media, lying to everyone, thats when he was done.
The Dems were talking about sanctioning him. Specifically removing him from all his committee assignments, basically, all he would be able to do, is show up and vote on issues. No negotiations, no committees, no nothing.

Allow me to restate the name of the organization being discussed here. Its called the National Organization for Women.
Although their silence doesn't really come as a surprise to anyone. Particularly after the recent Governors race in California. It would be more accurate to refer to them as the NOLW. That is, the National Organization for Liberal Women. I mean, since they were fine with seeing how calling women derogatory names seems perfectly acceptable to them, provided of course those calling them names are libs, and those being impugned are conservative or at least have an r by their name. For that matter the NAACP should change its name too, as it would likewise be more accurate to refer to themselves as NAALCP. Since conservative blacks typically are called Uncle Toms.

I admit I'm looking forward to this debate tonight. I'm still deciding which person would make the best President. While I like Romney, several of the others have my interest as well. Since whoever is selected will be the new President, is rather important to pick the best candidate.

Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. The problem is, that those who are out of work right now, know quite well that the primary person responsible for them being out of work, is the one preaching jobs. Or rather its the policies of his administration that has destroyed thousands of jobs, putting hundreds of thousands out of work. You need only look at the oil industry for the clearest example of that.

Is not really a surprise, given how many people are suffering from PDS. Palin Derangement Syndrome. You can see it even in this thread with multiple people posting silly things, that obviously aren't true about her. Those who insist she's an idiot, despite the evidence to the contrary, those who seem to think she's secretly Tina Fey in disguise.
Sorry, they lowered the level of debate? They forced the debate to be about more then what the media wanted it to be, and so the media, attacked. Now admittedly, they had no choice. A woman becoming VP would have been great, except for the fact that shes a real person, and a conservative. To those on the left, there is nothing more evil or threatening then a successful conservative woman. Its sad, but true, even today.

Hmm, thought I made the point clearly. Guess some people just couldn't understand. I'll restate. Lets assume that Weiner is a CEO of some company, and he does this. I guarentee he would be out of a job by the end of the week. Same if he was a teacher someplace. But because he's a congressman, he can stay in until the voters throw him out, unless he's indicted and convicted on some charge.

Excuse me? Asking for an id somehow puts an unreasonable burden upon the poor, disabled, and minorities? Really? What were you saying the other day about some mystical drug that enables you to live in a fantasyland? Think you've been doing a bit too much of it. Do you honestly mean to say, that minorities are so incompetent and stupid, that they can't go and get an ID? Really? Wanna talk racism, thats what we call implied racism. See I think that everyone can handle getting an ID. Those who can't handle even that simple task, well should they even be voting if they are so mentally deficient?
Oh I'm sorry, did you need to listen to that clip again?
Getting back to this thread now... I don't think Gingrich was ever serious about running for President. His actions demonstrate that pretty conclusively. Think he realized there was no way he could win, but by running, he gets his name out there, and can make himself more money giving lectures etc. Is a lot more money to be had by a recent Presidential candidate, then by a man who was speaker of the house more then 10 years ago. By doing it, he will seem to have more relevance also. His aides leaving him, is simply that they all realized the truth. That he is in this for the money. Not that I blame him. Everyone has to make a living somehow.

Really? Every single election there is voter fraud. Every single one someone votes who should not have voted. Every election someone cancels the vote of someone who has a right to vote, and who did their civic duty by voting. That to me is wrong. But go back and listen to what she had to say. Are you going to seriously try to tell me she wasn't race baiting? When she outright says Republicans who want to protect the sanctity of the ballot are really pushing for Jim Crow laws? Is that what you're going to say?
Whats even more amusing is the obvious hypocrisy of the woman. First she alleges and complains about massive voter fraud in the 2000 election, then she insists that any attempts to address that very issue is in fact racist, and an attempt to reinstate Jim Crow laws, as if demanding someone provide proof that they are who they say they are, and in fact have a right to vote, is intimidating to someone who actually does have a right to vote.
Heh, I actually agree with yabits on this one. Well not about the 'not so bright' crack, but electing another Texas governor...

I'm on the opposite side of this. I've always hated brussel sprouts. Rather nice to know for once that my parents were wrong, and that eating brussel sprouts can actually kill me...
Another little bit of humor in this terrible situation. I note that its not GM foods that kill people, but that organic stuff.

Sorry Yabits, but after I read this, I went back and watched the video of the DNC chair pulling out her vile race-baiting rhetoric. After listening to that, my thought was, how is she different from David Duke precisely? Just sickening listening to her, and no one even gives it a second thought. Certainly no calls for her to resign over her comments.
Taka, you should get a job as a comedian, seriously you're good. You left out Romney though. You're wrong of course, as pretty much every single candidate would have a better then even shot against Obama. Particularly with the country in the situation it is.
lol, come on smith. Still with the hate mongering towards Palin? Come up with something new will ya. She's not an idiot, and anyone who thinks she is, obviously needs their head examined. Heh, still, was funny... White-out her monitor. I admit I laughed at that one.
And Obamas answer is to shift to European style socialism... Except thats failed, as Spain, Greece, Portugal and so many other countries can attest. Its simply not sustainable, and it isn't the solution to the US long term problem. And his other suggestion, more state controls, and a managed economy went out with the Soviet Union.

Heh, so funny. Does anyone else remember 2 years ago, when so many of you guys were prophesying the death of the Republican party, and here you are, the Republicans have control of the House, are knocking on the door of the Senate, and will beat Obama for the House.
Sorry, despite the libs desperation to see another Bush in the House, Huntsman isn't going to get the nomination. In all reality it will go to either Romney or Pawlenty. Either one of whom could beat Obama. You are right about Perry though. He won't translate outside of Texas, and we're a bit gunshy about another governor from Texas.
lol. Thats because he's a Republican. Thats what makes him Evvilllll! If he was a Dem, then he would be a great guy right? Heh, so funny the hypocrisy you guys show.
Really? Thats big news. More details please. When did you guys stop being hypocritical scum? I thought that was what the Dems stood for! Race baiting, and class-warfare is what I see whenever I think of Dems. Did that change? I mean obviously the race-baiting is still going on, what with the DNC chair just last week...

Was watching the news yesterday as they were discussing this, and someone brought up the point, that had this happened just about anywhere else, the man would have been out of a job.

Is very sad. I've had the occasion when fighting with a sibling, where I just saw red for a moment, and had there been a knife nearby, I would have used it. I love all my siblings, but sometimes, especially with siblings who know all the buttons to push, it can be easy to lose your temper and do something you'll regret the rest of your life. I don't know if thats what happened here, but regardless its a very sad situation.

I agree with this statement as well. Congressmen are given a lot of power and with that power comes a certain level of responsibility. His actions, lying and trying to cover up his perverted behavior is troubling to say the least. Whether or not he is able to continue being a congressman is another story, and will depend on the voters in his district. However based on his actions, he is going to be shunned by everyone on Capital hill. Meaning resign or no, he is going to be completely useless as a Rep, even if they don't do anything more. Gary Condit can give him some advice on the subject.
