What really happened? Which part? That her grandfather was a psychotic monster, who murdered, or helped murder hundreds of thousands of people? Or that he was hanged for his crimes?

I agree, lets end subsidies for things like Ethanol, and windfarms, and solar.
Sorry, I believe you meant to say, that the GOP has long recognized the impact of oil on the US economy, and on jobs, and has tried to work with oil companies to keep costs, and thereby prices down.
You are correct though, that with these ultra high prices, alternative energy sources become more viable. Too bad ethanol, solar, and wind still can't compete without the enormous subsidies they are getting from the government. Sure you want to push for a free market solution?

In point of fact, thats precisely what Obama has been doing. No, I shouldn't input motives onto him. I don't know that has been his motivation, however it is what he has achieved. By forcing US companies to cut drilling, by not allowing new leases, and by imposing a blanket moratorium on drilling, for months, it has had that effect. It has killed thousands of jobs. That he is now reversing course, shows that either he realizes just how bad this looks for his re-election chances, or he is in fact a waffling idiot. There is a substantial amount of evidence supporting both, however neither one makes for a good President.

And the fact that someone as incompetent as Obama actually managed to win, seals the deal.

This is sad, but understandable as well. As Greece is in the grips of a huge recession, and is still needing to shed thousands of government jobs, its only going to get worse. Immigrants are a natural target. Very sad, if understandable.

lol. If you took every single man, woman, and child in America, added their IQs together, then tripled it, it still wouldn't even be half of our current President. The man is a genius. He is so far above us. He definitely knows whats best for each and every one of us. I mean, he is actually smarter then god. Certainly he knows better then god. However this is the problem. His concerns are so lofty and above us, that he is simply not on our plane. This is the problem. Its why when you look at all the Presidents that have come before, there has never been a single one, worse then BHO. It is of course why, even the dumbest Republican candidate, is a million times better then our current President.
You brought up Bush as if to say his ability to trip himself up in public speaking, somehow means he isn't intelligent. Guess you forgot where he went to school too eh? Reading your comments, all I can say is, you never let the facts get in the way of your partisan, kool-aid drinking viewpoint. From a certain standpoint, I guess thats something to admire, though of course it does make you a huge hypocrite.

Wait, how do you evoke memories of something ongoing? You don't need to remember it, its happening now, and has been for more then 40 years.
Theres a lot of bad stuff about whats happening in Syria right now. Whats surprising is, that the people living in the Golan Heights area of Israel, who used to be Syrian citizens, and now are Arab-Israelis, are so much better off then their neighbors whose land wasn't conquered by Israel. How amazing is that, that the people there are grateful for having been taken over by another country so they no longer have to live under their former rulers. I was reading an article that quoted some of the Syrian protestors. Calling for anyone except Assad. Even Israel. Just shows how horrible it is to live under this brutal, murderous regime.

The saddest thing about this, is that every single one of these candidates would make a better President then the idiot we have in there now. However its not really a question of whether or not someone would be better then Obama, there isn't anyone who wouldn't be. The real question is who would make a 'good' president.
While I like some of the things he's saying, I don't think Newt would make a good President. Romney still is my favorite though I really liked what Herman Cain had to say at the recent debate. He impressed me. Will have to see what else he says as the campaign moves forward.

Why exactly should the US stand up for these people? Don't get me wrong, I think its horrifying as well, but the US should not be the worlds policeman, and US citizens should not have to foot the bill in order to solve all the worlds problems. You want a solution, see what China is willing to do.

Seriously. I will never understand why Japan can't allow people to adopt, and why the Japanese people look down on adoptions. Hell, if you won't let your own people adopt them, let others from other countries adopt your unwanted kids. They get a loving home, you don't have to care for them. Why is this so hard to accept?

Did you even read what I was responding to? Code name was given back in 2001, back before Palin was known, and some idiot felt that that was a good name to use in place of Geronimo. I merely pointed out to this left wing loon, that back then you would be better off using Obama or Wright then Palin, as both were better known.

Was just reading Michelle Malkin as she walked back through the spin on the bin Laden assault. Where he resisted, didn't resist, hid behind his wife, wife was killed, wife was shot in the leg, someone elses wife was shot in the leg, and all the other stories that have come out of the White House since this happened. I swear, this administration is filled with nothing but incompetent lackwits. About the only thing they've released that we 'know' for sure, is that bin Laden is actually dead, and that he was killed by a team of Seals. Nothing else has held firm for any length of time.

Well by all means, since you feel that way, please feel free to open up your wallet and give them the amount you feel they deserve.
In 2001? Hell Obama would have been a better choice, or barring that, if you're looking for a religious extremist, Jeremiah Wright. Certainly both were better known then Palin in 2001.

No way! I can't believe it. The findings actually emphasize a need for greater urgency? Yeah, no political agenda here... Maybe they should talk to Al Gore, he probably still believes what they're peddling, even if he doesn't feel a need to change his own lifestyle as a result.

Couple points. First, putting a bullet in his brain is justice. You may prefer it otherwise, but when it comes down to it, that is what justice is for those who lost friends and family on 9-11. 2nd, Obama though supporting the operation in Libya, was not behind the strike that killed Ghadaffi's grandkids. That was NATO, and more specifically, the British. Apart from that, perhaps Ghadaffi and his family will reconsider whether or not they want to remain in close proximity to him.

You mean that now they are going to hate us and want to kill us? Wow, I'd never would have guessed. I mean after all the bombings, and attempted attacks on the US and its allies... Guess we should be scared now that they're really mad.
