The only real surprise here, is that it took this long for a story like this to break. I mean, successful, conservative black man. Time to whip out the ol' Anita Hill smear campaign. Time for a high tech lynching. To be honest, I have been expecting this for awhile now. Though I admit, I half expected a rape allegation, not a simple smear.

Whats interesting about this, is why Dems feel this will work? I mean, a man has sexual relations with a white house intern, and we're told, no big deal, its just sex. These allegations are about sexual harassment, not even sex. So whats the difference? Is it his skin color, or his politics, or both?

Heh, I just read a story that said, back when Obama was a community organizer, he sexually harrased a couple of the women in his organization. 2 of those women quit. There is evidence to support this...

Wonder what the response would be to this?

Likewise I wonder, why Dems feel this is even an issue? I mean a man has sexual relations in the white house with an intern, lies about it, and we are told, its just sex. No big deal. But if a black conservative starts to be successful, then its time for the ol' Anita Hill, high tech lynching.

Whether Wright -- if that's who is being referred to here -- is "racist," is a matter of opinion. I have seen no evidence that he hates any race. (There is evidence that Cain "settled" by paying off women.)

Gotcha, no video evidence of his sermons exists... Heh, so funny Yabits. Although I wonder whether it ever gets hard to breath down there, I mean since you've obviously got your head buried in the sand.

As for Ayers, there is tons of evidence that proves it. Do I need to rehash it here? In a thread about Cain? Your pathetic attempts to deny it, does not change reality, nor history. Obama had a long association with both Wright, and Ayers. Thats reality. Deal with it.

Wow. That's a level of desperation that leads me to believe you are convinced that President Obama has the reelection in the bag but are in denial.

Heh, standard Leftist tactic. Deny, Deny, Deny. And spin if you can't deny. I mention the truth about Obamas past association with left wing radicals, and am accuesed of being desperate, and in denial. What you fail to understand is, that it really doesn't matter. As far as I'm concerned, the election is already over. Whoever the Republicans nominate will win. Obama is a lame-duck. The only thing that we're waiting for, are the actual results. So, no desperation here.

It shows the extent of the mendacity the right-wingers will engage in to satisfy their deep-seated hatred of our president.

And the latest smear campaign against Cain is what? As I said before, who didn't see this coming? You would have to be an idiot not to know that someone would accuse Cain of doing something sexually inappropriate. The only surprise I had was that they didn't go for a rape allegation. But then, even Anita Hill didn't go that far. Still, I thought thats what they would go for, instead its the same campaign they tried against Thomas, this time with 2 women.

This just in, Cain accused of Raping a white woman...

Ah wait, he probably needs to actually get the nomination before the Dems pull that card.

It's quite clear that Cain's supporters are divorced from truth and reality. How else could they be Cain supporters?

This was your response when someone pointed out Obamas personal and longstanding association with a known racist. Care to comment on his personal friendship with Ayers as well? I mean who doesn't know and have a personal relationship with a terrorist these days right? Heh.

Looks like Cain has got some sexual harassment charges in his past. Women that he had to pay off in order to buy their silence.

This just in, Dems realizing how dangerous Cain is, decide to go for the Anita Hill smear campaign. He's black, he's conservative, and hell it worked with Thomas. Did anyone else seen this coming?

Even if he does get the Republican nomination, he's going to get his ass whooped by Obama.

lol, I hope you remember your comment next January when the Obamas are moving out of the White House.

I think it's funny you are so certain President Obama is going to lose the election molenir, but you don't have the courage to tell us who is going to win.

I already told you it will be whoever the Republicans nominate. What else do you want from me? It could be Cain, it could be Romney, hell it could even be Perry, Bachman, or Gingrich. Though I don't think any of them really have a shot now. Whoever it is that eventually gets it, will be the next President, replacing the failure we have currently.

You and arrestpaul default to "stray dog." I thought that wasn't inclusive of the tea party so I added the rabid and there you go, we have a consensus for a candidate.

Ah, so arrestpaul doesn't go along with you, so suddenly he's the enemy now?

Rabid Stray Dog 2012! Better than Romney. Better than Cain, Better than Perry. A Rabid Stray Dog!

Heh, not Rabid, otherwise I wouldn't keep him. And I wasn't the one who claimed he would be better then the other nominees, just better then Obama. Allow me to state it even more clearly. If the US hadn't had a President at all, for the last 3 years, that vacancy would have been superior to Obamas time in office. You need only think of all the idiotic things Obama has done which have dragged down the country. All the laws he signed, from the Porkulus bill, to the apology tour. To his constant vacations in the midst of crisis. No, its a sad thing to say about anyone, much less the current sitting President, but his has been a failed Presidency. Having no one as President, or my dog, would have been better then the mistake we have currently. Fortunately we will be rectifying that mistake in a year.

And it would be the best the GOP has to offer.

lol, and he would still be a better President then our current one.

After Obama's second term, will the U.S. be better off than now, or continue the downward slide?

About the only way Obama is going to get a second term, is if whoever the Republicans nominate, dies a month before the election. If he is facing an actual breathing human being, he'll lose That said, if the disaster that is Obama does manage to sucker enough people into voting for him, then yes, the US will be far worse off then they are now.

You seem so certain that President Obama is going to lose in 2012. What magic republican is going to show up between now and then that can beat him? Please enlighten us as to who the winner is going to be.

Please, my dog could get himself elected over Obama. The incompetent idiot is the biggest disaster since Carter. Not exactly the President to aspire to outdo. Whoever the Republicans eventually choose, will be the next President. Right now its looking like it will be either President Cain or Romney. Either one would be a welcome relief from the idiot we have in there now.

On another note, I was just reading the story how Obama is throwing the US into a lot of tiny conflicts in Africa and thinking, wow, if it was Bush doing this, the left would be frothing at the mouth. Heh, guess having that D by your name makes it all ok.

She and her husband. Now you are putting her first like Bernie is an afterthought. You are too much.

I put her first because I use proper grammar. Bernie and her, Bernie and she etc, don't work. She and her Husband does. Bernie is the one in prison, and deservedly so. Why you feel the need to defend this man or his wife, is beyond me. I didn't have any money invested with him, but I know some people who did, who lost a lot of money. So pardon me if I fail to shed any tears over hate mail this woman gets.

Boo Hoo, she got hate mail after she and her husband defrauded people of billions of dollars. I'd be more surprised if people who lost so much money, didn't send her hate mail.

I'd say those most at risk are nations like New Zealand, Australia, and of course Spain. Those countries whose populations have bought into this idiotic, unscientific religion.

Maybe I missed this in the story, or a previous story, but I don't see a reference to the FBI investigating. I see that Japans SEC has begun an investigation, but thats it.

Freedom of religion means that You see all kinds of fanatics coming into the country - Islamists, Christian fundamentalists, ultra-orhtodox Jews, scientologists amongst others. I don't know which ones are the most scary...

This is actually a very easy question... Which one has folks setting off bombs indiscriminately? See, wasn't hard to figure out at all.

I differ a bit on these issues. There have been recent attempts by some groups in islam to find a way to obtain "human rights" as a derivation of "Islam law". This would make it far more difficult to reject human rights in an islam country. Thus, not everything that comes from Islam's law or sharia law is necessary bad.

First law new leader of Libya repealed, was one outlawing polygamy. Not sure how anyone can try to reason their way through this being ok. Blind hatred towards Islam is not what is happening. Its an awakening as to what it really is. Its looking at reality, I mean really looking, for the first time, and seeing how rank, how fetid, how devoid of basic human rights Islam, and specifically Sharia law is.

Ah, the party of 'no', doing what it does best (simply saying 'no').

Heh, anyone else looking forward to next year, when we can refer to Dems as being the Party of No? When Republicans have control of the House, Senate, and Presidency, the shoe will be on the other foot. No doubt Sushi and smith will use the term themselves to refer to Dems... lol

Yabits, if someone were to say that "Most Democrats are too far gone, lazy and deluded socialists who only want to steal what they were too lazy to create", what would you think?

I don't know what Yabits would say, but I'd say its a sadly accurate statement for many libs.

Now connect this with the Koch brothers' extremely unethical business practices. They run a company that illegally sells goods to Iran. They were convicted of stealing oil from public lands. Killed two teenagers in a pipeline explosion (admitted liability in court). In fact, they've settled in court for myriad violations. You can read the rest of these revelations in Bloomberg Markets if you're interested (I imagine you aren't).

Wow thats amazing. Whats amazing about it? Its almost all completely fabricated. The amusing thing is, you're pushing the Koch brothers as this bastion of evil, but have no problem jumping into bed with Soros and other left wing profiteers. For everything the Koch brothers have really done, you can point to plenty of things Soros has done that are worse.

Yes, but it is not common sense to say that the Dems will look for a challenger to President Obama. So why do you keep saying it?

Perhaps because he's not a kool-aid drinker. He can see whats coming the same way most of us can. He can see that the only prayer the Dems have of holding the Presidency is to put up a real candidate. Someone who isn't immediately thought of as an incompetent, the way Obama is. Someone who hasn't destroyed the US economy, passed exceeding unpopular legislation, and decided to crush the free-market system, in favor of failed European policies.

Why would it be reluctantly? Isn't Obama a great president?

I used to think he was the worst President in US history. Now I just think he's the most incompetent. Meaning he's managed to bring himself back up above Carter. My question isn't why wouldn't someone vote for him, but rather, why would anyone vote for him?

Agreed. John Huntsman is the only serious, sensible candidate on the Right.

lol, a guy who is only slightly to the right of Obama himself, is in no way a serious, sensible candidate. Only whacked out loons even consider him a candidate. He would be better off switching parties and challenging Obama. He'd sure fit in better as a Dem, although he would still be too far left to be viable.

Romney is the only Republican with any real chance of getting elected; if the Republican base can't see that they are even crazier than they appear (which is pretty crazy...)

Actually, whoever the Republicans nominate, will have an excellent chance of getting elected. You are forgetting who they are going up against. The most incompetent president in US history, who has mismanaged the economy so badly even his own party members are starting to wake up from their kool-aid induced stupor.

My take on the candidates... Paul - a good guy, but way too far out on foreign policy to be considered seriously. Romney - Tries to position himself as a moderate, but Republicans as a party are far more conservative, hence why he hasn't managed to secure the nomination despite so called front runner status. Perry - Supposedly the conservative alternative to Romney, but his positions and actions as Govonor of Texas undercut that claim. From the Gardisil fiasco to his positions on illegals, he is far from conservative. Bachman - I like Bachman, she actually is conservative, and I think she would make a good President, but I don't think she can make it through the Primaries. She is my number 2 choice. Cain - Initially I was skeptical of the guy. Particularly after watching some of his interviews. But he is a guy who is saying all the right things. Its why he is the current front runner. However he has 2 major drawbacks. First, he has no ground game. He doesn't have a real campaign organization yet, which is a bad thing when trying to get yourself on the ballot. Also, he has no real experience in elective office.

I'm not sure who will be the eventual President. At this point though, its looking like it will be either President Cain, or President Romney.
