I've heard of the food connection too. I know my son wakes up at 2 or 3am after we return from UK demanding breakfast. Tummy clock is a powerful thing! Junkface- re airline food, ever flown JAL or ANA lately? Food's inedible!

From London to Tokyo you usually arrive in the morning, which is infuriating. Try to sleep as much as possible on the plane - I used to take a pill. If you don't like to take sleeping pills (I don't now as I travel with a child) and can't sleep…
