the comparison between akb and lady gaga is based on pure ignorance. gaga has despite her theatrics, more talent in her left toe than all those akb chicks combined. GaGa started as a rocksinger/writer,before she got discovered. Her style is one she created herself, not one created by a slick producer. She writes her own music and plays the piano, triangel and tambourine (I reckon). When she decides to move to another record label or dump her agent/producer she still will be an artist and still drill have number one hits.... now what would happen if the producer decides to sack one of those akb drones.... For the record I. don't care about her music, but I. know my music and the likes of akb are an insult to music, entertainers maybe, musicians....no way in hell.

No shooting guns in movies is a healthy example... I hope one day Hollywood/Chinawood/Bollywood and Japanwood follow Tibet`s movie industry, no smoking, no driving, no shooting, no (unprotected) sex, no cursing, no fighting, no junk food and no drinking.... just meditating and praying. We all need examples, we are lost sheep who wonder through the valley of darkness, tempted by the evil pleasures who are merely creations of our weaknesses.

This is only the case if the wife
s family doesnt have a son and they have lots of land and property. Its not a family thing its an inheritance thing. I dont know the details why this is preferable...but Ill change happily to my wifes family name in return for a huge chunk of land which will provide for my family and settle our retirement. If the wife can change her name to my family because of dumb law, then I can change my name for something much more meaningful easily....after all its just a name...Posted in: Women file suit to keep their surnames after they marry

I want one...I don
t know why..but the otaku in me says "buy one"! Unfortunately the wife asks "why?" Mmm if you have an ipad, you surely want the 3g option, which means yet another contract with softbank...or you overpay for a simm free version. Do I want a nagging wife, do I like softbank so much that Ill be willing to give away my money to them? Do I have to shed tears as next year an ipad appears with those dreadful needed usb ports? Mmm the otaku says "yes of course you should get one, who cares if Mr Jobs is turning into a Mr Gates, and all above reasons.. get get get and when you`re at it get also one of those overpriced fan-less fans from Dyson!" So I eventually will throw all common sense out the window and get one....I just hope that against time I have found a valid reason to buy one..Posted in: How the iPad won over an unbeliever

But the murder, rape, victimizing, torture, killing, drinking, drug use, mutilating, fast driving and unprotected sex goes on.... Thank god that smoking is almost banned in movies, kids might start picking up that bad habit! After the "hattori" incident, the on-liner all Japanese students going to the US learned was "freeze!".....mmmm nothing changed.

mmm it became one big quote...
But on a serious note, the presence of gypsies have turned lots of EU countries into third world lookalikes. Begging, pickpocketing, and loads of other crimes are done by gypsies and other East European "guest" workers. Sure the natives have been doing the same, but since the arrival of our East European friends, things have escalated beyond proportion. Why do you think, when two gypsy girls drowned in front of a full beach in Italy, nobody helped them? Blatant racism?. No its anger of seeing your country turning into sh1t. To understand the problem, you have to experience it, live in Germany/Italy/Holland/France for a while and instead of "Why?", you might say "mmm thats why" Ms Viviane Reding doesn`t live a life in which she will be confronted by these problems, I applaud the French for taking their country back.

Wrong my friend, Iniesta was offside the first time, before he got the ball, but hey see what you wanna see. People saying that Holland played dirty have been reading the BBC comments to closely and forgot watching the game. There were a lot of fouls....from both sides it`s just that Spanish players drop like flies whenever a Dutch defender was nearby.

Useless referee, missed an important corner kick, approved an goal which was clearly offside.... still the Spanish deserved this victory.

Zenny11, I
m not familiar with Stage 1 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, but from what I read, its treatable. Tough to hear though about your personal experiences, but stories like Andy Whitfield's may give you and many others a positive boost.Posted in: Star Channel to air 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand'

"Spartacus: Blood and Sand" Season 2 is a go! Star Andy Whitfield's diagnosis of Stage 1 non-Hodgkin lymphoma put production of Season 2 on hold. Instead, producers greenlit a 6-episode "Spartacus" prequel series starring Lucy Lawless and John Hannah.
Whitfield announced to Deadline that he is now cancer-free and has already begun training for his appearance in the prequel series. "I'm raring to go," he says, noting that his treatment was completed in mid-May.
"I was a healthy young man and had no idea that this could happen," Whitfield says of the initial shock. "It was frustrating that the first season was ending on such a high note and we could have been rolling into season 2."
Spartacus will be seen in two episodes of the prequel. Whitfield will begin filming his scenes in October, which gives him plenty of time for the rigorous boot-camp training he does for the physically demanding role. After the prequel series wraps the cast will immediately segue into the full Season 2 of "Spartacus: Blood and Sand."
Andy used the time off to "heal, stay in the now, and spend time with my family," he says, but he's looking forward to getting back into his gladiator sandals.
As for what the ordeal has taught him, Whitfield says he's learned to "stay in the now and enjoy every moment."

Yes he came through and he
s fine, but the next series are based on "the house of batiacus" so thats before spartacus came, because the producers didn`t know how well the lead star would fare. Absolutely a great series, but yes I recommend you download them , because the Japanese version will be heavily censoredPosted in: Star Channel to air 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand'

The English had ONE reasonable game and now expect to beat the Germans? Funny the English press has a short memory when it comes to their team`s performances and a long one when it comes to ww2. Anyway no matter what what the press says, the only team the Germans regard as their "rivals" are the Dutch, but even that has mellowed down since so many Dutch players have been playing in the Bundesliga for the last few years. Germany-England=two-nil and a one way back to fish and chips land.
