Good on Namie for sticking to her guns. She's more like the 'reluctant' celebrity-- the one that doesn't enjoy fame for the sake of it and doesn't impose herself on the public more than need be. So sweet and humble. And she's said that being a mom and spending time with her son takes precedence over being Namie Amuro. That's why she stopped going to Kouhaku ever since she got custody back. It's a reason to respect her all the more. Some might say 'OMG HOW COULD YOU NOT ACCEPT AN INTERVIEW WITH LADY GAGA' and I say, so what? Who is Lady GaGa compared to Amuro? XD

I'm still in shock over this! It's a combination of Namie finally having a boyfriend after so long, and Atsushi supposedly being a player... and them flying over to the U.S. wow... I'm just wary of this guy, he better not hurt her!

Namie has never done a nude photo-shoot in her life; surely you must be confusing her with some other trash. She has a little something called class. About the photos, I'm sure she wouldn't have cared if it was her walking, but she's extremely protective when it comes to her son. It's not your place to judge. Publishing photos of an outing with her and her son for NO reason at all, with no excuse, is why she had a case. She's actually made it clear before that she doesn't want him photographed, but they didn't listen, and so... hikes for them. You complain about freedom of expression? Over something like this? Over a woman not wanting her child in the public eye? Yeah, no. Get over it. How hypocritical for you to complain about 'freedom of expression' when you're chiding Namie for 'supposedly' baring it all (which she never has and never will).

How is showing her legs and belly when dancing 'baring it all'? And please, even celebs have a right to privacy. She's not stupid, if she didn't have a case then she would not have sued. And guess what? The case ended months ago, and she won it. So get over it.

@techall: Did she say much to you? What was it for? And how long ago was it? Sorry for the barrage of questions I'm just very curious.
@LoveUSA: She's not a poor singer at all. She doesn't lipsynch at all and can sing 30 songs in tune at her concerts. She had to work her way back to the top again on the basis of her own merits. Hell, back in the 90s she was praised for being an idol with actual singing and dancing talent. So what if it's Japan? There are plenty of singers popular worldwide who can't sing live for shit. Japan isn't the only place with shitty pop singers, but Namie definitely isn't one of them.
