And the chinese government still hasn't gotten it into their thick skulls that you CAN'T CONTROL…
It seems no thread is complete without NetNinja's overly long, pointless, insane State of the Union…

Elvensilvan, Did not know that. Great info! But, still....that was a powerful EQ and Tsunami.

Crappy idea.
Then again, it's YouTube, not a place where meaningful discussions can actually take place.

Loki, society would pay a lot more to raise that fetus to adulthood than it will to abort.
But it's clear you are against society doing anything for others, but that would also do away with everything you enjoy.
Hope you like walking to work while avoiding all those roads. Oh, and don't forget to install your own well.

@techall: the reason - which seems to have escaped the psychic Judge/Jury/Executioner squad here - is that the police are not certain it was the brother.
I hope it was, because if it's not, then everyone here (and probably in Japan) has basically convicted an innocent man without waiting for the trial.

AlfGarnett: very funny rip on the idiot God-botherers, mate!
I'm just worried when those a-holes start interfering with the Internet, which has been driven in large part by the porn industry.
You'll never appreciate the freedom you have until jerks like that take it away. Then it's usually too late.

Why aren't there any links to these baths? I've been trying to find them forever. Chomp chomp.
Posted in: The most important rule of etiquette to follow with mixed bathing is that both men and women should look the other way. I hope bathers once again create an atmosphere in which men and women can feel comfortable in a mixed bathing environment.

Sarge: get a clue. Please.
"Breathing right" does nothing for snoring, since it's not the breathing that causes snoring.
Scrote & herefornow: see advice to Sarge. Please.
"Man boobs" are an actual medical condition that won't go away (much) with weight loss. And that has little or nothing to do with this fad.

Those of you calling this a "reality show" need to get your heads checked.
If this sort of thing became a reality show, then I would be just as disgusted as anyone here.
But this was a documentary (no quotation marks, timorborder).
It was shown for a purpose: one meant to help society, not profit from it.

Agree with Spidey.
Perhaps the problem for me is that I have NEVER gotten so drunk I couldn't think. I've gotten drunk enough to lose my lunch on many occasions, but my brain has always functioned well enough that I would take responsibility for my actions (if not my reactions).
So maybe it's me: I am unable to see how others can be so completely drunk that they are not able to think, yet are able to think enough to drive a car.
And, really, I think if there are people like that, then they should not be driving a car sober.
Posted in: Should bar owners who serve alcohol to customers knowing they are driving be liable for prosecution if the customer is involved in a traffic accident? Should passengers in cars driven by drunk drivers be also liable for prosecution?

"KKK membership was overwhelmingly Democrat, like most of the South."
The Southern Democrats you speak of are known as Dixiecrats, and they all joined the Republican party when the Civil Rights Movement pissed them off.
You do know that, don't you?
Not to mention that they were welcomed with open arms.

Most Japanese beer sucks ass anyway, same as most American beer (which actually swallows, so it's worse than Japanese).
The microbrews (or ji-biiru) are the best in both countries. Or... try a beer from another country.
There is nothing like a pint of Guinness draught, or Newcastle (if you drink enough), or Old Speckled Hen, or a thousand other beers that are either unavailable or priced beyond reason.
If you are in Japan, your choices for good beer are almost non-existent. It's no wonder people are turning away from it altogether.

Pivot: he'll be playing an action Einstein.
Watch as he battles Nazis while trying to condense his equation on the chalkboard down to E=M*c^2.
Thrill as he teeters on a cliff edge as he lectures his students about relativity.
And wipe a stray tear from your eye at the heartbreak of a lowly patent office worker struggling to keep his coworkers from being driven crazy with jealousy at his massive brain.
Then he'll punch out Stalin with a manly blow.

I skipped the GOP convention. If you've heard one "big-government, big spender, anti-health, anti-science, anti-poor, fundie-religious fascist" speech, you've heard them all.
Honestly, if someone could resurrect Hitler, those arsewipes would put him on the ticket and the whole party vote for him.
