  Another good product from the general area (not Fukushima, but Ibaraki) is "Hitachino Nest Beer." The amber ale is excellent.

  Sony already bought out Minolta. It's got too much of a stake in optical business. (They do eyeglass lenses too.) I can't understand their rationale.

  I love how the police are always so interested in my bicycle. They stop me to ask questions. Their admiration is amazing and I always brightens my day. I'm always like "Golly, this old thing. It's really not much to look at."

  Thanks so the high yen camembert prices are now greatly reduced!

  Domestic Camembert is cheap and not bad. I'd go for Brie if I were importing.

  I have to agree with the people who thought hotel pricing was too high. You pay a lot of money in Japan to stay in a really small room with most likely has no TV and smells of tobacco.

  Agree. Here, a no smoking room means no-one will be smoking there after you check in.

  Weren't they subject to payroll taxes when they were first earned? Is so, then the payroll tax point is moot.
