I was hoping so much that she would be okay. I grew up there. It's so sad to hear that news.

I think the lady realized "kids are cute from far away and only when you know you can give them back to their mother".
It's my motto for children, anyway.

I don't think there are that many knife welding senior citizens. So even if the cops are patrolling they're not looking at old people.
I agree with "fatloser" he probably just wanted some company even if it's in jail.

Who knew people could be hit by fatal falling bullets?
He was found on a toilet and his gun is attached to his belt. If he drops his pants and the gun hits the floor at an angle. It could have shot him in the head.
Or it was his co-workers and it's a set up.

What if he just dropped his gun while he was on the toilet cause he was so sleepy?

I think the son did it. He's probably a furita that wanted more money from Momsie for expensive hair gel and his Louis V toting girlfriend.

You know how sometimes when you were younger, your Mom would tell you to invite the loud bully from down the street to your birthday party. Well, I think that was similar to Palin's invitation to this event. Hillary however, was the cool kid you wanted to be friends with who decided not to join the party because the bully would be there. There's no politics in this just a birthday party social issue.

I will start Sarge.
I love military guys. You have to love war though, don't you? It keeps you employed. I heard that you can get a $10,000 bonus for staying in Iraq more than a year.
We've still got plenty for the Russkies to worry about. But Bush isn't threatening military action.
He can't threaten military action. The only way we would have enough for the Russkies to worry about is if there was a draft.
Resolve...if a person decides to burn down their house and nearly succeeds while burning down your house. Would you be angry?

Really, 60 is not old.
My Dad is 64 and he goes to the basketball court every Sunday and plays full on street ball with guys half his age. I will admit there are some weird older people, but there are weird young people too. Like the 20 something business man that stopped me in the street today just to shake my hand and say Hi.
If some kid ran into my Dad on a bike and didn't apologize, I would expect my Dad to be angry about it. My Dad worked from 6 years old and some kid with an allowance hits him with a bike. Even I would be angry.
I say these people especially in Japan at 60, born right after a war. They deserve respect. When you're 60 and hopefully not loopy, and some kids bad mouths you or hits with a bike you'll understand.

LOL, Bush with a over spent military is threatening Russia!?
A tiny country with old missiles that can't even shot passed it's borders is one thing, i.e. Iraq. But Russia?
I will apply to the EU as refugee if there is another 4 years of Republican heavy-but-empty-handed stupidity.

>I declare missles to be a foreign weapon, along with the machine gun and the airplane. Weapons of the infidel and unIslamic I say, and all Muslims are hereby forbidden to use them.
LOL, I think birthdays are easier to ban than guns and missiles.
I do wonder though, is drilling for and selling oil un-Islamic? It is definitely an innovation.
The cleric is just angry that he's getting old and will die without ever seeing any porn.

First off, the kid was one year old! I wouldn't look that cow in the face either. She probably hit the girl all the time.
Abuse is a repetitive behavior and Japanese people see the signs of it and ignore it.
I imagined she snapped because she couldn't cope alone with a three-year-old and one-year-old twins. Being a single mother with just one child is very hard. Can you imagine what it would be like alone with three small children 24/7? Even the most well-adjusted person would snap.
rurika I would have to argue against that. My grandmother raised 12 kids with an alcoholic husband. My mother raised 5 and had time for 3 step children as well. You either love your children unconditionally or you don't.

What happen to the patient and calm monks like the ones in the stations with the bowl? I bet one of them could do a better job.
Shouldn't he plug the hole and let the hornets go anyway? I thought Buddhists were non-violent.

I understand that lady wanting someone to do something about some of these impolite kids running about, but threatening all of them because one hit me with a bike is a bit much. I have thought about hitting kids with my bike when they see me coming and continue to take up the whole walk way.
This was not the best way to handle the situation but I don't think she's batty. The old lady should have a cane and smack the kid if he/she doesn't apologize for hitting her. That's what my grandma would do.
She should make the kids respect their elders again and not involve the police.

>And please tell me you were joking when you said you hadn't heard of the Michelin guides and star system of restaurant classification before you read this article!
Soldave some of us experience life instead of following others lives.
BTW I have been a concierge and I have never used this guide. Now I know why.
> Michelin’s Tokyo guide awarded a whopping 191 stars to 150 restaurants in the Japanese capital, the most number of stars awarded in any city. Previously, Paris had the most stars, at 65.
*The guide sold 120,000 copies in just three days.**
Seems suspicious to me.

Did they try the Kebab shop in Ueno? Cause that's one of the best meals I'VE had in Tokyo!
We ARE comparing French food to Japanese food though. I don't like either very much. I love French pastries though! I think Japan should be learning that art. I can't find a good chocolate cake anywhere in this country. It's always too dry.
Now I'm hungry. Coco Ichibanya it is then.

Are you prospering now? Or was this an 8 year test run? Personally, I felt more secure financially when Clinton was in office.
