compared to past presidents...
I happen to think a)that lots of the worlds political challenges out there today have been adversely affected by Mr. Bush... b)His 'verbal clumsiness' is often more than a slight slip up... and too often for someone in his position. c)the affects his decisions have made on American people(( and the world )) have been often negative - points like supercub mentioned - and therefore there is a lot of hate to be shown through the media...

Carash - thank you for sharing ;) I checked out your links. I have a friend who is married and has children, and has just come out that he wants to change his gender ( BTW; he isnt attracted to men and he is happy with his wife )- found heaps of good info for me to read about transexuals! Thanks xx

On tonights news the announcers introduced him as the Kenyan born, raised in Japan athlete... I know he came here when he was 15 - but I would hardly say that qualifies him as 'raised' in Japan. Trained in /and current resident of Japan may be more correct...

Loved the softball game! Both teams put in an amazing game - And the Aussies in the game the day before ;)
One point about the medal tables; Today I noticed that the top of the medal tables in the Aussie press is China - as it has the most GOLD medals. But American press has America on the top as it has the most OVERALL medals... So I guess it depends which table you are looking at as to which team is at the top...
