"Jackie Brown" was cool and likable, thanks to Samuel L. Jackson mainly. He also saves "Pulp Fiction" from being a self-indulgent mess. But Tarentino lost me with the "Kill Bill" flicks. Maybe it's not so much that Tarentino films are so good; most Sam Jackson films tend to be good…

Yup. It helps to have a good knowledge of Espanol since the film mainly takes place in Spain. Otherwise you'd better brush up on your kanji.

Saw the flick. Save your money. I like Jarmusch's earlier work (Mystery Train, Down By Law) but this one is a HUGE disappointment. It ends up going nowhere...very slowly. If you like Spanish locations, you might just enjoy it for the scenery. One of his more pretentious films.

Serling practically coined the phrase "Witness if you will..." You know of course he wrote the screenplay for "Planet of the Apes". Watching the series now is like going back to a more innocent time, a time before JFK, a time before Vietnam, before cell phones...
