I worked for Nova a few years ago for a few years and I never heard of any teacher receiving any congratulatory or condolence money, even though a few of my colleagues got married, had children or were bereaved. I didn't even know they were skimming our salaries for it…
Doesn't anyone find it obscene that the guy with the most money wins? shouldn't there be some sort of legislation that gives each candidate equal airtime and advertising space and no more than that? Of course, they will still give money and favours to journalists in return for positive copy…
