I don't think who the teacher is or what country they are from has anything to do with the quality of English education. The actual cirriculum and the desired goals determine the effectiveness of any educational program. Japan continues to focus it's efforts on passing entrance examinations, not functional language ability. Until that changes don't worry about who's teaching!

"Not sure why you guys are all hot and bothered." Because we're more than likely NOT JAPANESE BOYS and do in fact get turned on by looking at WOMEN!

Looks like the girl on the right stuffed a bit too much padding upstairs! But she does have a cute quirky smile! All in all they look like a European 60's flashback!

Maybe it's time for restrictions to be applied to Toyota's operations in the USA? They need lawyers and other investigators crawling up every orifice investigating their operations, which are it seems being run according to Japanese corporate (i.e. corrupt) standards. Every time a fault is found, hammer them with fines and business closures. The only thing the Japanese will EVER understand is MONEY!

If I read these guys right they want to PROMOTE Japanese culture and pride by BLOCKING Japanese people from seeing what is happening in their OWN COUNTRY and forming free opinions! This is what the civilized world refers to as censorship, not freedom of speech and expression.

These right wing fanatics are the same ones who continue to deny Japanese atrocities in WWII! They deny the murder of hundreds of thousands of civilians, the rape of civilians, the existance of unit 731 and it's crimes against humanity, the plundering and colonization (by force) of other asian contries etc! They deny historical facts!

Pearl Harbor, keep your air defenses up - you never know!

The old saying goes "don't sh$t where you eat!" I think Karzai just took a massive dump on the dinner plate! He needs to remember the same bombs that put him into office can take him out.

And when they're done with him will they arrest and prosecute the captain of the Shonan Maru 2 for ramming and sinking his ship? Fair is fair!

"Japan has fringe groups that deny any atrocity took place"

Yeah, that fringe group is referred to here as the Japanese Government.

The charge of abandoning a body is easy to prove since they have the remains. If they charge her with murder the police will have to get off their butts and do some investigating to make a case - and that takes a professional desire to do one's job!

I'll bet we see the same story again in a few years, same mother, same planter! This is disgusting but it seems to happen more and more these days!

Oh, by the way Japan, you might have been the "big winner" in this round but sometime in the future you'll be the crying loser when there just aren't any more tuna!

Isn't vote buying a normal thing in Japan? Why should they act any differently with the rest of the world. Money talks, especially to the poorer countries. I'd just love to see representatives of these countries come out and say on camera that Japan PAID them to vote a certain way. That would be the nail in the coffin for Japanese lobbying!

At first I thought it was an insult to the physically challenged, but anything that gives young people a better understanding of what it's like to be in a wheelchair has got to be a good thing. They all seemed to think it was easy and came away with a better understanding of just how challenging it was. Anything that promotes understanding is a good thing!

"I am glad, I enjoy Bluefin Tuna sushi, would hate not to be able to eat it. If they become extinct sure I will not be able to eat it either, but that is the way of life. Things become extinct, people will probably be extinct one day. That is the way life works, wether its by human hands, or mother nature."

With this kind of logic I'm sure the Japanese will lead the way in the extinction of the human race!
