Okay, I have to say good job to the 21 year old cop because he took a real chance here going in alone, getting maced, and then still bagging the dirtbag cop! I do wonder if the "60 meters away" meant horizontal or vertical distance (yup! I would have flipped douchebag off the balcony for macing me!) Obviousely he survived to be questioned. I do have to question the police procedures in this case. it's 10PM, dark, and an unidentified man is standing on a woman's balcony. They send ONE YOUNG COP to investigate ... WTF? Was he the only one awake in the Koban at the time? Anyway, great job young man! You're proof that there is some courage and dedication to the job of being a police officer!

That swimsuit reminds me of a visit to the "modern" section of a Japanese furniture store ... stuck in the 1960's! I've seen more skin in Ginza on a hot August afternoon than I ever see on a Japanese beach!

A real testimonial to the intelligence of some Japanese women! Blithering idiots! Maybe it's a good thing the population is declining - DNA like this should be flushed from the pool!

It was a gesture of respect from a world leader who knows how to act in the presence of other world leaders and state representatives. President Obama showed the respect due the Emperor of Japan.

If I were at Narita I would definitely treat him to a good lunch and a few beers! I like people who have the balls to keep trying! Here is a man who stands up for the things he believes in and gets crapped on by his own country!

They had no case to begin with. He is a Japanese citizen, he is not divorced under Japanese law, and he is the father of the children he took for a ride. There is NO law that says a father can't be with his children and I think they are starting to realize how utterly stupid Japan is starting to look to the rest of the world with it's racist draconian ways!
The issue is now under the rug and out of sight (only in Japan of course!)

I predict a sudden upsurge in land sales on Iwo-Jima! I'm sure if this gets out Japanese will be buying up parcels of 1-tsuba lots so they can lodge future complaints about Americans occupying their valuable farmland :)

For anyone who watched the news, notice the Korean ship was damaged on the forward starboard (right) side. If it had been sailing correctly and aware of the oncoming JMSDF destroyer it would have been on the opposite side. Oncoming ships always pass to port (the one coming at you would pass on your left side). The damage seems to indicate the Korean ship crossed in front of the destroyer and got t-boned! If the destroyer was in full reverse at the time it knew the kimchee was about to hit the fan! It will be interesting to seem the official outcome and it is really amazing that there were so few injuries.

Drop the "anti-" part! Putting 3000 cops on trains just increases the number of perverts doing things like this!

Isn't it a bit hypocritical to condemn women who've worked in the porn industry when those who condem are the BIGGEST CONSUMERS? You stuffy old politicians should cherish these ladies, for without them you'd have nothing but your wives to entertain you!

The Taliban are no better than a pack of rabid animals, and the only way to cure them is to exterminate them! The murder of innocents trying to bring relief to the poor is a crime against humanity, by non-humans!

Its idiots like this that will keep the Olympics from coming to Tokyo and solidify Japan's image as a nation of xenophobic racists! While other world leaders congratulate Rio, Ishihara (in true Japanese form) blames Tokyo's loss on "behind the scenes dealings" and insults the leaders of the competing nations. The IOC was smart to ban visits by members to candidate cities to eliminate the chance of bribery! Ishihara would have had his cronies stuffing fat envelopes of cash into every hand it could find that had a vote! At least Primi Minister Hatoyama reacted with the respectful dignity expected of a world leader by offering his congratulations.
Read the sequel Ishihara .. "An IOC that can say NO!"

Maybe an Interpol warrent for kidnapping should be issued for her arrest and extradition to the US? If Japan ignores that it'll make them look even more draconian then they already are. If the father was awarded sole custody he was simply coming to return his children to the USA, not kidnap.

Japan sanctions kidnapping of children while condeming North Korea! I hope the legislation in the US passes and imposes trade sanctions on Japan until they sign the Hague convention. Japan remains a third world country in the eyes of the rest of the world!
