A "dishonorable discharge"? Are teachers a military force these days? Maybe it's time the teachers start working to get rid of the governor and stand up for thier freedoms!

The end result of this is it's getting harder to tell the boys from the girls ... and the boys seem to be really secure in thier FEMININITY!

Shouldn't the headline read "Mrs Ayumi Schwarz"? I like the portrait but wouldn't really call it a sexy pose. Anyway, every little effort and cash will be much appreciated by the people in Tohoku.

Sorry but anyone trying to swipe fuel from a tanker that happens to be on fire really deserves to be blown out of the gene pool!

Since the insurgents aren't an organized military force of a legitimate government they are all technically "civilians". If they are armed and firing on NATO forces they are legitimate targets! Those supporting them should be considered hostile and 1500 hostiles in a single location is known as a "target rich environment"

Wanderlust, the probably know about it but it's more than likely not approved for use in Japan and rules are rules even in a disaster situation :)

Now we'll have to put up with another round of "how dare you" comments from Japanese politicians. Get over it Japan, you lost and the islands are now Russian land.

The stylish Tyvek suits you see on TV are availabe in the USA for as low as $6.95 EACH! I'm thinking about buying a lot, dying them pink and selling them in Harajuku for 50,000 Yen each!

So a bunch of executives got together and brainstormed for days to come up with this? Not worth further comments!

God willing the Navy SEALs now have all your names and addresses from Bin Laden's little black book and you'll soon be getting that little "midnight double-tap" too!

Nice shooting US Special Forces! I hope you took out all the Pakistani ISI who were hanging out at the house too! I disagree with the burial at sea though.

They should have just shot him ..... nevermind, they would have used up all their ammunition before somebody would have actually hit him at point-blank range!

pumkin31526, I was addressing the last paragraph of the article "and that the domestic definition of child abuse will be employed when such acts are brought into question" I am well aware of the diference between abduction and abuse. I do agree that Japan will drag its feet. International definitions of abuse already exist so I don't know why Japan needs to be adamant about applying "domestic definitions"?

The domestic definition of child abuse? WTF? Oh yeah, I guess speaking a foreign language to your children, feeding them western foods, and teaching them the customs of another country will soon be considered child abuse by many disgruntled mothers! Japan joining the convention and enforcing is is just like Japan enforcing nuclear safety measures - a joke!
