You just know that as the election nears that gas prices will magically fall, the unemployment rate will suddenly drop 2%, student loans will no longer have to be paid off after a certain point, etc. All the convenient timing and manipulation in politics makes me sick.

    That being said...

While I don't necessary care for Romney, I have little doubt he will be better than Obama.

Don't listen to Lunchbox. S/he couldn't be any more wrong. YUI is BY FAR one of the most TALENTED singers in Japan.

This year's course was easier than in years past, which is what I was referring to.

I just worry about whether or not Ishikawa can perform in major/international tournaments. He hasn't finished any higher than 20th place and that worries me a bit. I want him to succeed.

Japan totes Ishikawa as a huge star, yet he can't top 30th on an EASY U.S. Open course?

I wonder just how good he actually is(n't). I like the kid and wish him success, but... where is it?

Sorry, but regardless of how happy they are now this couple's story always sickens me. It's one thing to be attracted to a 16 year-old girl at the age of 40, but to act on it and pursue a relationship/marriage? That's absolutely NOT okay and is rather sickening if I'm being completely honest.

I can't help but pay attention whenever I see one of her commercials on TV.

I was going to make the same point as pawatan. I'm sure these Mario games outsell games such as COD MW2.

Parents in Japan seem to be very caring, yet very naive and lacking common sense when it comes parenting. What disturbs me most is when I see children standing on one of their parent's lap in the front seat of the car (or between the seat and handlebar of a moped).

I think it's great that he has been so successful; however, what I don't understand is why he was approached to do modeling. He's not particularly good looking.
