The children were the ones who called the police - bummer.
My heart goes out to the children because they are the ones who REALLY suffer in this. What happens to these kids now does anyone know?

America will be out of Iraq within a year but not because we are winning. Study history because in about a month or two we are going to see a repeat. Does anyone remember the Tet Offensive back in 1968 in Vietnam?
General Westmoreland told everyone that 80 percent of south Vietnam was passified (military talk for in our control) everything seemed quiet when all of a sudden the VC and NVA lunch a country wide attack where they took back about every single city for a about a week to two weeks showing that the U.S. military was NOT in control. The U.S. lost face big time and this is what got us out of the war.
Well the samething is going to happen in Iraq in about a month or two. Have you noticed just how quiet it is in Iraq and how things are heating up in Afganstan (they want the U.S. to pull troops out of Iraq and shift them to Afganstan).
This has a two phase purpose. 1. is to have the U.S. loose face in the Middle East and 2. to make sure that a Democrate will be elected president. Because Mr. Obama is just another Jimmy Carter when it comes to international crisis.
Watch out people because history is about to repeat itself.

Just to let you know Confederate2008 - I have been aboard ships when we came across whales and they don't sit in the water with signs on them letting you know they are there. They will cruise about 10 feet under the water and you don't see them until you are passing them and you see that big dark shadow under the water which is about the size of your ship (it does give you a creepy feeling seeing that shadow and its almost the size of your ship).
Then again it could have been a Russian or Chineese subs we were seeing.

Aren't these the same guys who have been killing whales with sonar???
And what does speed have to do with it? It's the propeller at the back end of the ship that does all the damage, and as long as that thing is turning it will kill, so what does speed have to do with it?

Now for the BIG question - What will Beijing look like 6 months from now when all the homeless come out and the street crime goes back to normal because there aren't 20,000 chinese soldiers patroling the streets anymore. Oh yes and let us not forget the SMOG and it's return.

I have been in IT for over 25 years in the U.S. so I have seen the trend. We are told that the U.S. like Japan is short on IT people but I see kids coming out of college with IT degrees and can't find jobs. But at my work I see them importing their new people from India. These imported workers aren't any smarter they just work for half the pay. Japan I believe is going thru the same thing. It just makes me sick to see this next generation of college students having to get into another line of work because of this.

You mean an American Serviceman WASN'T involved?
She had a SEX SHOP and she was maybe testing out one of her toys with the customer and things got carried away (like one of the spirits told her to do it)?
Or maybe the guy's check for the sex toy bounced and now she's mad?

another thought on this - since this has been going on since 1997, my question is - DOESN'T ANYONE IN JAPAN CHECK THEIR SAVINGS ACCOUNT from time to time? You would see withdrawals being made that you know you didn't make. Or were these people so rich they don't have to check their savings accounts?

Sure would like to hear more background on this story to know WHY she killed her child (maybe the kid was deformed or her boyfriend dumped her, or she lost her job).
As tragic as it is there's a REASON for her doing it. No matter what its still very tragic!

Since there wasn't any mention of fire I suspect the pilot ran out of fuel which we call "PILOT ERROR". And since **93 percent ** of all aircraft accidents are "PILOT ERROR".
I think that martyman's "Thank goodness for professional pilots" statement may have been stated too soon.
