I always feel for the driver of the train because he will be reliving this nightmare for the rest of his life, which is something the person who CAUSED the accident won't have to live with since he is dead ( and dead because most likely thru act of Suicide or being drunk and stupid).

for those of us who have lived thru earthquakes all our lives a magnitude of 6.4 will rock your world pretty good especially if your home is not built to earthquake standards. 15,000 homelss gives you a good idea of how these homes are built. Needless to say our hearts go out to these people.

Microsoft might say the release date will be 2010 but they have always been about a year late on their release date which puts us to 2011.
Then we have to wait a year for them to release Service Pack 1 (let all the other suckers who buy it when it first comes out be the paying Beta Testers) so that puts us out to 2012.
Am very happy with XP until then thank you and MAYBE Microsoft will get it right this time (but don't hold your breath).
Oh yes and for those of you who say that Microsoft has said it would drop support of XP by the end of 2009 think again we went thru this same thing when we went from Windows 98SE to Windows 2000. Remember that most commerical Big Business did not go to Vista but stayed with XP and if you think that Microsoft wants to piss these people off think again (like I said we went thru this before with Win 98SE..history repeats itself)

Yo..Prince Charles here's a news update. Back in the 1970's we were told by the "EXPERTS" that we were heading into a new Ice Age for the same reasons we are now heading into Global Warming.
After the Presidental election is over in the U.S. you will see that the Global Warming issue is going to slowly go away. It was only being used for the U.S. presidental election to help out the Democrats to win the election. Once in power the Democrates will only give Global Warming lip service because it would cost to much to actually do anything that the "EXPERTS" say has to be done!

Kids at 5 yrs old have enough to deal with so why on earth add in something that they could care less about just to make things even more confusing. Kids learn all they need to know on the playground so who needs the Govt. telling them. Next we'll have the Govt. tell us which is the Govt. Approved sex position (where does it stop).
Oh and if you are a tax payer you already know which position that is!

I agree with Blue_Tiger...these girls need to loose the hats (looks like something from the late 1950's) and let the hair flow freely.
Am also sure that they are good at giving directions too. I just hope their not there to push/stuff people unto the Escalator like those guys do at the train stations.

Blue_Tiger you have it right..they are showing that if they can hit the moon then they can sure hit each other here on earth.
Just remember what the old German Rocket scientist once said "Ve aimed for the moon..but Ve hit England".
Helium 3, an isotope which is very rare on earth but is sought to power nuclear fusion - normalisboring ...So if India mines this stuff from the moon how much mass of the moon can we take before it effects its orbit which in turn will effect our weather here on Earth (did anyone think about that?).

How could he have fallen over the cliff? It was daylight out but was there any fog? Not enough details in this story for me to put my Sherlock Holmes Hat on.
Or could have been attackec by Big Panda (Asian version of Big Foot).

I think our YETI Project boys have been hitting the Sako. Now if they had found an empty pizza box next to the tracks they may have been onto something.

This looks like a scene from "On Golden Pond" when Henry Fonda and his grandson only difference is they are on the lake...but same idea. Maybe this was the Japanese version of "On Golden Pond" (renamed to "On Golden Mountain")only in REAL life version.
Glad they are both OK. One thing for sure the grandson will have a memory of his grandfather to last him the rest of his life (a Kodak moment if I've ever seen one).
Just hope I can still walk at 79 years old let alone hike into the forest with my grandson.

It even comes with a built in can opener so you can get out of it once you've somehow gotten into it.
Actually it reminds me of the old british Austin Mini Coopers, it was fun in the 1970's to hot rod these things. It came with a shoe horn so you could get in also.
