I am not sure if the US bases need to be in Japan or not. However, I do have a question. If the bases were to close how would it affect the ecomomy? I know when our local Air Force base closed many civilians lost their jobs. The closing nearly devasted the community. It was years before it bounced back. By the way, my brother really enjoyed his tour of duty in Japan. He visited many historical places while he was there. He saw many beautiful sites. I still enjoying looking at the photos. He was treated with much kindness and respect and in tern he was very respectful to all he met.

Where I live owners of certain breeds of dogs must carry insurance. In addition children are not permited to walk the dogs. An adult must be in charge of the animal at all times. Even with all these regulations in place people still getting attacked. Dogs that kill are usually put down and many times the dogs who attack are also put down. I am sorry the woman died.

I noticed the other person's face after posting. I do love the little girl's expression. At first glance I thought she might have been in a field of short sunflowers. I have some of the taller sunflowers planted in my lawn but I did not plant any of the shorter ones this season. This photo is becoming one of my favorites. I love it!

He was exhausted why didn't anyone help him. I know my Father became exhausted while caring for my mother. We made arrangements for her too get a home health aid. The aid came everyday and took care of her so that my Father could at least get out of the house. This service was free!

Americans are not always right but I still like living here. We are a diverse people and always have been. Maybe that is the reason "everyone" hates us. They see a little of themselves in us. My family ancestry is German, English, Irish, Scottish and Native American. The current generation includes a Korean, Thai, Thai-American children, and a few Latinos. We are a diverse group but we are family and I love them all.

I am glad to be an American. I work a public library with many patrons who have given up pretigious positions in their home countries to live here. Not everyone is anti-american.

The girl in front seems to be in her school uniform?! That out fit is just like the ones I see the local parochial school girls wearing. The skirts may be a little longer on the ones I have observed, unless they decid to roll the waistband to make it shorter.
