Good for him. Here in the US smoking is still permitted on most city streets. It is is big no-no in buildings. I wish is was banned on the streets. Contrary to popular opinion it is against the law to carry guns without a permit.

Somewhat racist.(Depends upon the context in which it is used.) But then I have not made it a habit to use such termonolgy. I think that's what this term has become a "habit". I am not sure if it is a good habit or a bad one.

No, not really. If I were staying in Japan, I would try my best to learn the language. There are those who can easily learn other languages. It is the way their brains work. Others have a more difficult time. I would love to speak another language however I struggled to learn Spanish. I can read it better than I can speak it because the alphabet is the same.

I think these ladies should stick to a natural hair color. I do not understand why so many Asians would want to change their hair color. In my opinion, Ms. Chibana, is the better looking of the two. It looks as if Ms. Mori has changed the shape of her eyes. I agree she does not look Japanese but what do I know.

Here in the US prices can be higher in the family restaurants. In addition, many family owned establishments prepare the same food I could fix at home. If I eat out, I want to eat something I would not normally have at home.

She needs to drop out for the good of the party!I would not mind a woman as President but not Hillary. Personally I do not want her in the White House unless she agrees not to let Bill back in. I am somewhat tired of Clntons and Bushes dominating the American polital scene. It is time for a change.

Good point possum! Where would Japan be if we Americans would stop buying their stuff? Reciprocal voting rights? I wonder how that would change the face of world politics?
