Should have traded the police car for the boy.
Placed a bullseye on the front license plate and blow it away when they try and move it.
Place a GPS tracking device in the car and find the hideout.
There is so much spook crap you can do these days, just a shame that an 8 years old kid is done this way and all for what?

What a lot of people don't know is the reason your cheaper ""American"" TV will not pick up Japanese Digital stations is.
The Japanese have gone with a different frequency. The old NTSC was good for TV's produced to run the Analog Signal. Japanese could have gone with the same frequency as USA but choose not to. S Korea and the US TV can do this. A US TV will work on the Korean Digital channels.
Funny that Japanese TV's sold in the US have the frequency that will work and are half the price.
@Patrica, if you have the Sharp Aquos, look at the remote and you will see a button with D and one with A. D will get you to the digital stations, but you might need to set the tuner for digital.

"Oh shares the Japanese single-season home run record of 55 with Tuffy Rhodes and Alex Cabrera."
Should not bring up Mr. Rhodes without adding the following:
In the 2001 season, he hit his 55th homer to tie Sadaharu Oh's Japanese League single season home run record, set in 1964. For the rest of the season, opposing pitchers intentionaly walked Rhodes to prevent him from breaking Oh's record.

How about educating older pedestrians and younger bicycle riders walking and driving on the road in the first place?
Because Toyota is in the car business, not the pedestrians/biker rider common sense business.
But that would be a money maker if all were required to attend such a class;>)

The automaker said the positive reviews for its Estima hybrid minivan, which comes with regular **electrical outlets **to plug in and run household appliances for up to two days, are prompting it to make it available as an option for the Prius within a year
And then you can live in your car and make toast like Ricky in the Trailer Park Boys. Just need a good hockey stick to clear the van if you need to drive somewhere!

Either the Japanese will tolerate higher prices or say "No, thank you." to Suzuki when it comes time to buy a cycle.
Read again, it says "Suzuki Philippines Incorporated, its subsidiary for motorcycle production and sales and automobile sales in Philippines". "In order to meet increasing market demands for motorcycles market in Philippines".
Don't think Japanese will go to the Phillippines to buy a motorcyle.
The power of reading and understand what you read.

While still a dangerous stunt, big difference between a rope across a cyclist pathway and what these knuckleheads did.
At Yokota the victim was on a motorized bike and this old fella of 70 was peddling along. The punishment should fit the crime. The US kids were deported. What do you think will happen to these kids?
JAPANESE police plan to arrest on suspicion of attempted murder four children of US military personnel after a motorcyclist was badly injured by a rope stretched across a road. The 23-year-old woman suffered a fractured skull after she was caught by the rope and thrown off her moped near western Tokyo's US Yokota Air Base on August 13 2009.

So if it's happening in America we should all just forget about it? America's a special case?
If what is happening in America? Torture of an American service member who violated several UCMJ Articles? Don't think held until trial is torture.
Manning was arrested outside Baghdad on May 26 and is currently in a military prison. This guy is not Manning's lawyer, so he can just piss off.

Why does a "Torture Investigator" need access to a US Military member?
I would think there are a few other places he could be looking for victims.
