Before it provided safe haven to islamic terrorists for attacks on Syria ....

If you join a drug traffic.....you life will change dramatically.....

Bhateswar Bhutbhute There is no righteous side in the Syrian conflict. Its a struggle for power between a Dictator and the Fundamentalist.

Sorry - point me NOT Dictator ruling Arab country near Syria - may be Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia ?

BUT Assad like Saddam - is NOT Islamist, he is like Saddam and like Gaddafi - secular lider.

    But US support islamists ....

nandakandamanda I've no idea. Is peace worth it? Is people living in harmony or at least mutual understanding and cooperation worth it?

So it was a war for peace ? not for democracy ? To have a peace in Iraq was very easy - not to invade there.... and not to destroy Iraqui state...

All I said was that many people in Iraq do not want to call what they have "democracy", *

Yes it can't be called democracy - only "democracy"

. Eventually though, they will have to work out a system of cohabitation, and they can call it whatever they like. Mutual genocide does not seem to me to be a permanent solution,

They have such system by Saddam

And now - Saddam is dead and Iraq is dead .....

    And WHO is guilty ?
