If these "cluster of cells" were dolphins some would have a fit. Some fight more for the protection of whales then their own species. What is the cause of this blindness? Is that the freedom we are asking for? "...Although in these cases the guilt of the individual may be reduced or completely absent, nevertheless the error of judgment into which the conscience falls, perhaps in good faith, does not change the nature of this act of killing, which will always be in itself something to be rejected..." I would be very careful advocating abortion to anyone.

Sex crazed society. Hey it is dynamite. One can create children! Surprise! The choice is between two to give themselves to each other lovingly. Yes life results. It is not the fault of the new life. Why destroy it? Reproductive health?
Human life should be protected. That is why one cannot go back to coat hangers, for the mothers life is important as well. Respect for life should be one of the basic virtues a society is raised with. Responsibility for ones actions is also a virtue. It seems as though many wish to back pedal from consequences from choices they have made. They can, but boy the undoing is tragic especially for children.

Golly golly golly, what a feat. the ones at the bottom are carrying a lot of weight. I would lose a few centis myself holding all that up. Incredible really. Hope they won or will win. Good on them.

Interrogation my definition is abusive. Pictures of someone in your face is abusive. It is not only the troops who will be targeted for revenge from misperceived conceptions driven by the liberal media.

"Arrested for what he is, not does".
He was arrested for what he did. People make choices and he is going to pay, I would hope get help as well. But I can see where this agenda is going. Our children are not even safe from people just being 'themselves', if this crowd has its way.

Rush uh SushiSake...
proxy - quite right...People know what is right, if they are humble. A tall order for many.

SushiSake3 - Some of Rush followers cannot see the human life in womens choice. Most in fact. The ones I know anyway. You got the other part right except the cowboy hats and lack of passports (Almost hard not sounding like Rush when one puts humor into a post;-)

proxy - Things must be ordered correctly, that is all, and articulated as such. Obama's order may be off but he articulates well. Such as funding abortions (wrong order and third world does not want it) and also seeing that some think that "freedom of choice" is the only issue (he sees a life there as well). Obama is meeting people half way and will work to lessen abortions. Now the Republicans have got to do the same but get the order right. Embryonic research? Is there a question about human life there? I think so. Shoot and ask questions later is what Obama is doing. Rush does the same on the other side. Powell I think would have got the order right.

good call teleprompter - The Nazi party must have appealed to emotion through radio (freely chosen, freely dumped) in the early years to get support. We see it in Japan with those big trucks going around. Reminds me of Rush. I just have a higher expectation of a Statesman then Rush. Powell is a good man. I am sure Rush is as well but he does not come close to Powell as a Statesman.

I'd pick Powell for president. He has Rush Limbug pegged. Rush plays on emotions. Sure he hits some issues right but he reminds me of some of the Nazi propaganda machines. Powell is much more mature in thought and uses reason well. I always liked Bush and Cheney but this pick really shows a small intellect, so different from my idea of a great Statesman. The Republican party needs Statesmen with principle who can clearly articulate Truth. Not spin.

Mittsu- Safety - Like kids not using seat belts. Telephone poles in the roads. Bikes, people, 2 lane traffic, on a one lane road with houses right up to the road. Maybe you live in Sapporo and there was some safety planning. But the average parking area and roads in residential areas are the most unsafe I have ever seen. Am thinking seriously of leaving Japan because of it. The quality of life just is not there. Always worried about getting run over. Tokyo seems to be different with its mass transit and the people seem to make one way roads and care about safety. Tokyo I could live in. But being squashed on the trains might make me think again. Oh well, one has to be careful everywhere. Poor children and Family.

...told his audience at the mosque that Muslims and Christians should be partners in the "noble purpose of serving mankind" to protect society against the "excess of the unbridled ego."... He is a truthful good man. Gets himself into trouble, but then again he is only human. A light shining on the hill for all to see.

God's finger through history is written in the Bible. This is our inseparable bond. It is not a game of Balderdash where one trys to convince the other something that is not true but one of belief in a creator God who has acted in history and told us about himself. It is not a religion of identity but one of revelation. We share this with the Muslims as well.

OntheRecord I with OntheRecord and Molenir. This all just muddies marriage which should be as the ceremony tries to make it. Does not always work. "...whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever, is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." I am moving off this subject folks. Cheers and may we all get along. Agree to disagree, ne. Catholics still hold the sanctity of marriage and will always. A home for many.

Because one can do something does not mean they should. But for money some people will rationalize almost anything. People do not have to buy these things either. "...whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever, is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things. " What happens when one does the opposite as in playing these games?
