Abortion:: the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus: Pregnancy:: containing a developing embryo, fetus, or unborn offspring within the body. This action should always be condemned in general consciousness and in the direction for society and is certainly not a right; for it conflicts with the right to life that each one of us enjoys. However, situations do arise where it is a great moral dilemma. One wants to say it is a right just to take the pain away. Very sad and education of the 'Theology of the body' might be considered; for sexuality is a gift where man (male and female) becomes complete with the other; and very often life springs from this union (male needs female and female needs male, to be a true person). This is the ideal and is not the reality of many situations. Bad things do happen and we must have empathy and realize that we are all in the same boat. We must try to help each other, whomever that other may be (this includes prayer).

Should of, would of, could of. That's history. Maybe dictatorships are best for multi-religious, multi-ethnic groups as in Iraq and the Balkins, to keep the peace. A lesson for the US in the future? I really think all men want freedom but only if those men are responsible to each other. I hope it all works out in the end and the Iraq nation lives in freedom and peace. Seems to be moving in that direction. Probably safer than most large US cities.

Like President Obama said let us gives thanks to the "ALmighty God' for this thanksgiving. Surely the laughs from these two should grant them immunity. Poor Rahm Emmanuel, smiling eith the rest of em. Vice President Bidden was just so happy. LOL. Let it be. Chill 5SpeedRacer5. Timorborder's post was hilarious. That is all. In truth we are all under the protection of the 'ALmighty God' hajj peace and we have a President that is reaching out. Only God can help us in the end.

Smart child. Had some deep thoughts. Parents are overworked or at least expected to give too many hours at the workplace. It really is not their fault. Economic well being is important as well. Some social laws as in Europe might be considered for the common good. I wonder if he was an only child. We all try to do our best as parents in our cultural melieu and philosophy of life.

Something must be done. If molenir is correct then Health care is being corrupted in the hands of politicians. At 1000 USD a month for health care now many just take their chances. A real problem here is individual rights vs the common good. Should people be able to opt out of paying into the health system? When they get sick who would want to refuse them treatment? Would you refuse treatment because of their individual choices? I do not think so in the name of humanity. This only increases cost for everyone. If everyone contributed then the cost would be cheaper for all. One cannot get blood from a stone so that government would have to pick up the tab for the people who have no work. I am all for a fair bill. Something has to be passed and the details figured out. Unjust provisions must be tagged and removed but let us get the ball rolling.

I have to side with cleo on this one. It might or might not be. That is all. However, the good book testifies of a man who willed and it happened. Water into wine, dead rose, and his important message about the Love of God and how we are all in this together. In this message I see the transfigured shroud in everyday life.

One more thing. The picture is misleading. The video tells the true story. Saw the video this morning and it was all pretty harmless and just plain respectful.

Makes our life here in Japan a bit nicer. When a leader of a strong country can be humble, it is appreciated. Who can stand arrogance? Took me awhile but I learned from President Obama. I am thankful for this lesson in humility and in showing respect. I do not think the news media in the US made a big stink out of it. I was looking for that but did not find much.

Down feathers. Poor geese. Folks fur etc... as long as the animal has a dignified existance and quick death... that is all we can do. It is the way it is. I wish it was not, but that is how the cards were dealt.

Beautiful coat. Beautiful girl. I have leather shoes. I always find it curious why some have less respect for human life then for the life of animals. Maybe it is overcompensation. Who knows.

Palin and Rush for President. Seriously, the GOP must find some serious statesmen/person. I am looking at the Conservative Democrats these days for the compassionate governance under the natural law or as the Chinese say the "Mandate of Heaven". Respect for all life and the special place of the traditional family.

Just have manners and give everyone respect when driving. Let the bikes have some room and the pedestrians as well. Try not to play chicken with the telephone poles in the road and a car coming at you. Be patient, everyone understands we all have to give and take. Oh and the scooters on the left, zigzagging thru traffic...May the force be with us all.
