Isn't it nice how winners of wars can put labels on the losers.

What? Like Tojo and the Imperial military brought so much prosperity and happiness to the people of Japan? Don't forget that the only person who ever "shot" Tojo was an angry Japanese after the war ended.

Wow, by my personal definition this individual is guilty of stupidity on two counts, one for the peta affiliation and the other for this silly name.

Well the US just lifted the Terror blacklist notation on NKOrea. We also stated that if there are going to be any problems with the inspections that NKorea has assured, they're going right back on the blacklist. With the world economy going to be in recession for the next N years it is wise for NKorea to stop playing brat and play ball. It's a matter of a couple of years before even China may simply not be able to help NKorea much less the western powers.

Actually Asia had their very best superhero back in the early 1970s. Bruce Lee.

Not carrying through with a promise becau8se NKorea refused to permit verification of their declaration is hardly "backtracking". Dad: I'll buy you a car if you can asure me that you're not smoking dope in your room. Son: I swear I'm not. So give me the car. Dad: Mind if I take a look inside your room to be sure? Son" No way! You're backtracking on your promise.

Amnesty International says at least 470 people were put to death in >China last year, down from an estimated 1,010 in 2006, San Francisco-based Dui Hua Foundation, says its research indicated about 6,000 people were executed in 2007, a 25 to 30% drop from the year before. The Rome-based Hands Off Cain, estimated that China executed least 5,000 >people in 2007

So...why are these people not doing their skit in front of the Chinese Embassy?

Japan hanged three death-row inmates last month, bringing the number of >executions there this year to 13 _ up from just one inmate executed in >2005.

Did all these people fail math or do they all not understand priority?

Well if she's giving herself 10 years the odds are pretty good she'll end up getting married. I also like to schmooze.

I think it's due to the inferiorty that many Asians and Japanese in >particularly ( mainly because of their rathar shamefull participantcy in >WW2) feel towards Americans and because of that Asians failed to produce >a superhero to the extent of Spiderman and Batman

I disagree. For one, most of the Japanese with any shameful participation in WWII are either dead or a stone's throw from it and have nothing to do with the article whatsoever. Secondly, if one reads the article, it clearly points out how Asian nations have had their own superheroes. While any kid growing up in the US in the 1960s and 70s would know of Superman, Batman, Spiderman et al, who outside of the US would have heard of them? To go on about inferiority based on this article is assinine.

I don't know why this product is being publicized before the military get their hands on it first. Japan still has lots to learn from the United States.

Those who actually believe black bears are endangered are usually the >ones that either have polar bears (which actually are arguably >endangered) confused with black bears, or are toting the line used by >the anti-poaching crowd, which I am also personally against.

    So you're pro-poaching, Ossan?

No I am against the poaching. I don't know any legitimate hunter who isn't.

Yellow Sea? All we have to do is ask China if they gave the NKoreans permission to do this. What's the big deal?

What a study in cultural differences. If a middle aged Japanese man did the same thing in some royal palace or whatnot in Europe I can guarantee that most Japanese would be angry at him for projecting an image of Japanese as a bunch of looney toons. Yet everyone here not only thinks it's hilarious (which I do too) but we criticize the silly cops (50 for 1 guy??? come on..) and don't give a rats behind about the impression that the Japanese public get of "gaijin". Thanks for he youtube link, it shows the J-cops treating the guy as a potentially dangerous crazy, which of course was the correct thing to do.

Great for nobody, she has no talent at all...

There are a zillion actresses in Japan with no talent at all. Ryoko Yonekura is not one of them.

About 3000 bears are legally shot in Japan annually where they are often considered a pest. Unlike the crane, Japanese Macqaque, river otter and eagle, neither black bears or brown bears are listed as endangered in Japan. Those who actually believe black bears are endangered are usually the ones that either have polar bears (which actually are arguably endangered) confused with black bears, or are toting the line used by the anti-poaching crowd, which I am also personally against.

Well, that's the end of that bear and very soon its whole species will >be gone the way of the dodo.

Bears aren't an endangered species in Japan, or many other places for that matter. Gold medal for conclusion jumping.

This is so stupid. As everyone points out so many other DVD copying programs have been out for ages and the Hollywood movie industry certainly hasn't been destroyed by people copying and burning DVDs. It's only a real issue when mass copying is done for commercial purposes, but the crowd of lawyers are feasting off the letter of the law. Not just movies bnut music as well, multimillion dollar law firms bringing actions against teenagers. Disgusting.

If these guys want to save this chain my advice is to dump all the >Japanese junk and start importing exclusively from the USA. Health and >beauty, sports, music, and all the boxed and canned foods that wal-mart >is known to sell.

Weird. Everything I see selling in Walmart here in the US is made in China.
