Actually, no. Infant deaths resulting from powdered milk is a stereotypical African continent type of problem. The examples you cite are the kinds of problems that occur in developed countries.

While I personally favor Ms Koike, I admit that Aso has the highest chances of becoming the next PM. As for his foot-in-the-mouth comments and hawkish views, I believe that China has come way too far in improving Sino-Japanese relations to let those efforts go to waste, even if Aso were to be the next PM.
