Aso is a bloody disgrace. His families' mining company during WW2 used >and abused POW labor for profit

Unless Taro Aso himself was personally involved in this I really don't see how that's relevant to judging him as a person or as a politician.

Can anyone think of a reason to keep N.K. on the terror list?

Yes, NKorea hasn't agreed to a verification of hteir declarations. If they weren't lying they'd have no reason to object. NKorea has zero moral highground. And it's got nothing to do with Bush. They've been this way since 1950.

Maybe it is time for Japan to tap into the worldwide baby formula market.

It's a known fact that already Chinese consumers who can afford it often purchae imported Japanese products rather than domestic Chinese products because of the the difference in quality.

No but I still can't figure out why the Wright Brothers and their plane are on the Ohio quarter when I'm fairly certain they made history in North Carolina. Kitty Hawk or something.

The more we buy U.S.A, the better the dollar will be. The more we buy >OTHER THEN U.S.A, the lower the dollar.

This isn't the result of a weak US dollar.

It sure is a shame about her face. She does not even resemble the Aya >Sugimoto of her early bikini idol days.

I'd cut her a break. We all age dude.

Prior to Bush taking action, we had 2 attacks in the US, the WTC and Pentagon. After Bush took action we have had zero. Attacks by terrorsts in the US had been reduced to nothing.

The war on terror isn't over. It's just that with the rising cost of fuel, food, bombs, etc they just can't get around as much as they use to.

Are all African countries under developed. Are the Chinese developed, do >they take this issues seriously? China needs to imporoved immensly.

    Then we are in agreement.

Japan needs to improve a lot, just look up how much Japanese produce is >banned from Europe for poor hygiene.

The article isn't about Japan or Europe or anywhere other than China.

"OssanULTRA- My god!!! Shock horror! Japan would never have anh incident >like this. Japan doesn`t have a history of mercury tainted food, bleached rice, >countless labelling scandals, selling tainted rice, and selling out of >date produts, does it?

Actually, no. Infant deaths resulting from powdered milk is a stereotypical African continent type of problem. The examples you cite are the kinds of problems that occur in developed countries.

Absolutely disgusting. CCP, take care of your own people first before increasing your military or shooting rockets into space. Or at some point the people will no longer tolerate you holding on to power.

While I personally favor Ms Koike, I admit that Aso has the highest chances of becoming the next PM. As for his foot-in-the-mouth comments and hawkish views, I believe that China has come way too far in improving Sino-Japanese relations to let those efforts go to waste, even if Aso were to be the next PM.
