It is hard to stay fit in Japan when everyone around you coughs, splutters and spits....Continuously..... Stay away from food left out in the open and unrefrigerated for hours on end...ie: salad bars and vikings!!!...You never know how many people have touched it and coughed all over it. Avoid meals with "Friends" who touch all the food with their chopsticks. Wear a gas mask when you ride your bike....and everywhere else for that matter. Stay well clear of hospitals. DON`T share the "Ofuro" with even your closest friend.

Stray bullet or not, it is time for the U.S. military to pick up their bat and ball and go home. It is only a matter of time before a major incident claims lives of the local people. The Okinawan people are remarkably forgiving under the circumstances.
