And the bloated and obscene budgets of the Pentagon increase (they can't even keep track of where it all goes, $$$billions are missing) while US defense war profiteers get filthy rich. There are $900 BILLION worth of new weapons projects in the works for the scumlords of war. Is that enough? Is this How Japan wants their Gov't to work, too?

As an American who is disgusted with my own country's behavior, both in foreign policy and culture, I'm not at all surprised by the notion that more people abroad hate us and mistrust our motives, since the USA seems to be all about greed and war. Why so many people admire us is a seriously flawed notion that "more is better". We have lost what little moral and spiritual compass/credibility we had under the Cheney/Bush misguidance the last 8 yrs. Whether we regain it is doubtful as long as the Pentagon/Defense industry is so bloated (over half the budget) and I seriously doubt that Obama will successfully take them to task. We are a failing Empire and like all Empires, we are being destroyed by our own greed and over-extension. I weep for the failed experiment in Liberty and Democracy, if there ever really was one beyond the greed of American monopoly capitalism. The USA may have done a lot of good things but usually with an ulterior motive.

Actually the invasion and occupation of Iraq was planned by the Neocons before 9-11 and they used that as a trigger by ratcheting up the fear index in the USA. This see-thru jazz at airports is just another example. Why are only 5% of containers entering the US inspected? THAT'S where Al-Qaeda will strike, if and when. Then martial law, suspended election, chaos.

Few Americans are familiar with the proposed treaty. If they were, they might be shocked at its provisions, ashamed about its naked sadism. It: * grants the U.S. long-term rights to maintain over 50 military bases in their California-sized country * allows the U.S. to strike any other country from within Iraqi territory without the permission of the Iraqi government * allows the U.S. to conduct military activities in Iraq without consulting with the local government * allows U.S. forces to arrest any Iraqi without consulting with Iraqi authorities * extends to U.S. troops and contracters immunity from Iraqi law * gives U.S. forces control of Iraqi airspace below 29,000ft. * places the Iraqi Defense, Interior and National Security ministries under American supervision for ten years * gives the U.S. responsibility for Iraqi armament contracts for ten years
Now would you sign an agreement like that for your people unless you were threatened with your assassination by Cheney at your last meeting like al_Maliki was?

All whales are endangered when it comes to whalers and whale meat eaters.... it's disgusting. The whales have huge brains, are social and communicative intelligent mammals-- You are eating your brothers and sisters.
