marriedawitch, i agree with Yubaru and a couple other here. 4 kids in 8 years can transfom anyone. Just get a maid to help out, preferably a good looking one. Your wife will learn she has to keep up. getting a priest to do an intervention wont work in Japan. try to spend more time at home. Looks like you havent been there for three years.

Very interesting article. Starbucks has come a long was form their origins in Seattle, as one of the founders of the specialty coffee industry. Very quickly they went the branding/trendy route rather than quality route. Since i am in the coffee business, i hope that they keep doing what they are doing...
what? no jokes about Startbucks opening stores inside the bathrooms of other Starbucks?

that is one of the worst names for a tsunami-related charity. The fact that most people that survived got out of their cars and ran is eerie. Some that tried to outrun the tsunami failed.

I assume this "Thunderbolt" port is not compatible with the USB 3.0 standard thats already been out for a while. Nearly 2 years ago i bought a external HD drive in USB 3.0 and its 10-100 times as fast as regular USB.
2 years in PC time is an eon. 5 years is jurassic.

they should use dogs more extensively. It would be much faster since dogs can pick up a scent from pretty far away. Also, maybe the stick method works for finding people in avalanches, but after one month the stick would probably go right through.

banks need to start paying higher interest rates if they plan to be part of the economic future of Japan. The spread is way too high.

They need some gimmick to justify the higher price tag. Actually, coffee commodity prices have doubled in the past six months, so manufacturers and distributors worldwide are feeling the pinch. As a result, they are starting to use cheaper beans of the robusta variety, mainly from Vietnam and China.
There's a crisis in the coffee industry, and it's not only due to bad weather in Colombia, it has to do with unsustainable ecological and social policies. Consumers in Japan have very little knowledge of the conditions of how coffee is grown, and how less than 1% of every yen paid in a cafe in Japan goes to the original farmers.

havent been able to read all the comments, but could it be possible to use Reverse Osmosis desalination trucks to separate pure water from the radioactive particles? Since RO works at an efficiency of around 25%, at least they could be reducing the amount of leaked radiation by at least 25%. The "pure" water could be pumped back into the reactor. if this is done as a closed loop, the refuse water will be getting in higher and higher radioactive contamination, but at least there will not be additional water being added, which then later would need to be dumped into the ocean.

Gashafi was carpet bombing his own people. If King Fadh in SA does that then he wouldnt last too long as well.
Those of you in favor of Gadhafi tell me where is the lady that showed up on CNN claiming she was raped. In front of 20 intl news crews she was shoved into a car never to be seen again. Hopefully not, but most likely she's lying in some ditch somewhere.

What an idiot Kussa is for going to the UK and claiming political asylum, when he is suspected of organizing terrorist attacks there.
He should have gone to France instead and hang out with Polanski.

i know its perfectly reasonable to not deny anyone their right to employment, however, recent natural disasters have realigned the economic panorama in Japan, and Tokyo Disney does not fall within that profile.
At least they made a lot of money recently, but now its time for them to take abite out of their "sh!t sandwich" like the rest of us.

these so called "fighters" always shield themselves by getting held out in schools, residential areas and places where they expose innocent people to danger. They dont have the guts to fight out in the open. Thats fine, we have people that can operate in the dark as well, we'll get to them more carefully from now on.

Molenir, the only mention of "three people" is when they talk about the councilmen, which are not the terrorists. I guess you didnt read the story so closely. Irrespective of their political or religious beliefs, they didnt deserve to die.
