Yeah, of course CNN's programming is slanted on the conservative side. They just finally got rid of Lou Doobs. During election season, they would hype up any controversy at all about Obama's campaign, and provide a lot of detail and info on th republican's side. Usually good news for the Republicans were covered with more fervor.

the prime minister's wife looks a little overdressed, but generally its okay.
But what's with Hatoyama's alien-style suits. First optic green, now this?

there was no water detected in the prior landing areas, mostly rocks...
this find could be significant, as the moon has vas mineral resources other than water, however, i don't foresee any countries taking ownership of certain areas. I imagine that once this is imminent, countries will get together and do something similar to what's being done in Antartica.
The initial development cost will run into the trillions of dollars for sure, since they will have to depend on photovoltaics for the initial energy source. Also, hundreds of tons of machinery need to be transported to there. The Space Elevator makes more sense every day.

he's asking for it I think. If China were to let him in, he would be sent to a nuthouse and that's the last time you'll hear from him.
He should parlay this into refugee status or try to get shipped to EU or USA and live over there.
His sister has a Japanese name, so i suspect she has already been naturalized.

yeah, they should not be releasing any of these details since they only hinder confirmation of any confession beat, er. talked out of any suspect. Also, the family deserves to be treated with dignity.

He's just talking because that's what he wants Japan to do, reduce exports and buy US goods. Perfect for him.
Too bad Americans can't do the same thing because the value of the dollar has gone down the toilet.
A similar things is going on with China. You don't hear US treasury officials complain about a weak Renminbi anymore. Not only are they holding a big chunk of the US treasuries, but China is also realigning their economy to stimulate domestic consumption instead of exports.

I do agree with dolphingirl, its good to get people out into the real world, integrating into social communities, and the good and the bad that comes with it. You can't live in a glass shell all your life until you get married.
This is a good option for recently graduated women that want to keep their independence. If it was a coed setting I guarantee you that most parents would not approve.

Tarantino also directed? They didn't really specify. If he did, then i will be sure not to miss it. I hope it's something like Dusk to Dawn, but without the gore.

hmm, im sure this kind of thing has been done in Japan before. Why not a little bit of research about this? Definitely the guy on the ferry should geta lion's share.
The plastic surgery place operated on him AFTER he had had several plastic surger operations, so prosecution would be rather difficult, even if they didn't react as fast. What tipped them off is that he didn't go to the follow up appointments.
The first place where he got plastic surgery, that one will go down bad.

I agree with eigonosensei that Japanese are obsessed with shopping and not so much the cultural, artistic or historical merits of the places they visit. This is from my own personal experience as well. However, their generous nature is what has kept many small island economies mostly dependent on tourism afloat thess last 40 years.

thanks mike for the clarification. It said that the guy lived in Fussa, but i guess the restaurat is near there. Not easy to find good thai food, even if risks getting one's face bashed in.
If the ambulance did arrve quickly, i wonder why they waited so long. If the guy had internal bleeding, or a concussion with internal hemorrhage of the brain, emergency surgery is neccesary to remove any accumulation of fluid or blood and patch up those broken blood vessels. That's what hospitals are there for.
I pray that no one i know has a serious accident or illness while in Japan. Medicine here is medieval.

From the way this picture looks, looks like a plain vanilla neighborhood. Perhaps the UN is giving out these World Cultural Heritage sites designations to anyone who asks.
By the way, if the fire is inside the house, there's not much you can do by spraying water OVER the house... Look at what happened in Nandaemun in Seoul. I wonder if they have sprinklers installed.
