if there wasn't a better way to get elementary school kids hooked on booze this is it. They might as well painted the can purple and draw some cartoons.
Rum would have been a much better combination, but who knows, maybe it was not as cheap. Starches for vodka could be sourced domestically, but all mollases would need to be imported.

Here is the "original" article in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kokyo
"It is the privilege of each new ambassador arriving at the palace to hand in his accreditation to the emperor to be picked up from Tokyo Station either in a limousine or the carriage. Although the carriage is not as comfortable as the modern limousine, most chose the carriage."
Sound strikingly similar to the first draft here? Obviously i got too much free time on my hands rofl.

this type of ass-backwards tradition is what keep Japan back in the middle ages. such pomp and ceremony... the real issues are all being avoided.

I assume the laptop needs the signal to work. Once the kill switch is trigerred the computer will not work, with or without a signal. If this is the case, then areas with no signal the laptop may not work then...
Its relatively hard core for these people to advocate selling stolen laptops on ebay though.

Swastika from Nazis is clearly different. Actually the buddhist symbol and one used by Native Americans in the US is very similar. The Nazi swastika is the only one that is rotated 45 degrees. In all other applications for the last 5,000 years, it has been used in level alignment.
I havent seen any swastikas (nazi or otherwise) in the pictures linked here.

Bigamy is a crime in most countries. heck if it was legal i'd have 10 wives and 25 children by now.
Also, the headline said that she vanished, but its misleading because they BOTH disappeared. So perhaps they are on a 5 month romantic honeymoon in the Sahara, who cares!!

I actually went to the last one a couple weeks back. Its a fetish party, but only 15-20 people that were really into it. Definitely pg-rated stuff if you ask me. At least the atmosphere was a lot better than anywhere in Roppongi. On other nights the place is top notch.
The place is called Desert Rose (砂漠の薔薇) in Ginza. If you check the organizers site you can get a better idea...
