the lack of use of the bathrooms in sento's makes me think...

anyway, if the water has a lot of minerals it wont be clear. i'm just thinking 80 people couldnt have noticed? The only rational explanation is if the kid had a seizure, but that also would have attracted attention.

if anyone kicked the kid in the head while he was underwater (very unlikely at 42C) then that person should have said something.

poor girl. hope they find the guy. time to put all those "bouhan" surveillance cameras to good use... there must be hundreds of hours of footage all the way from the JR Shibuya station.

Like Sean Connery once said: "the criminal expects to be caught"

if they cut 500 regular employees, they will probably be those with less seniority. Very little to do with productivity or efficiency. as a result, many of the dead wood remaining in these companies will lead to stagnation.

In modern days we are surrounded by thousands of chemicals that have unknown effects, at even undetectable levels. Another common disease caused by these environmental factors is autism. Much more research needs to be carried out to fully understand all these diseases.

usnc: Given all that you have mentioned here, and information on the official websites, it seems that treatment would go just beyond the "vitamins and exercise" that Tom Cruise suggested that Brooke Shields take to cure her post-partum depression.

Although i am sure he lived a happy life, I hope that this kid got all the medical help he deserved. RIP

Israel should come up with clearer evidence and if possible photographs that led them to carry out the strike on the school.

Obviuosly it was a little bit more than some captain looking through his binoculars. They have cameras on drones, radio surveillance and other intel.

Also, i have only seen 1 picture of victims of rocket attacks in Israel. The media has suddenly shifted coverage to the carnage in Gaza, but rarely writing that rockets are still falling in Israel.

I believe the short term solution here is to isolate the main populated areas of Gaza, immediate cease fire, allow humanitarian aid, medicine and food in, and prevent Hamas from re-arming. There should also be a safe zone 25km into Gaza to compensate for the increased range of Hamas's rockets.

Now, one thing that the media also has not detailed on, is, who will go to the UN to negotiate on behalf of Hamas? They dont have any leadership that is accountable for the actions of the militants. Even if some person saying they represent Hamas were to go to the UN, the fighters on the street will continue to build and fire rockets at will. That is why a blockade is neccesary.

continued speculation without any solid evidence will only destabilize the region further.

i cant believe that it took India 3 weeks just to forward what little evidence they had collected so far. Almost all of it had already been shown on CNN anyway.

Politicians in India are just looking to get some good PR for re-election at the expense of 200 dead and god knows how many more if war breaks out.

Tuna caught in NZ or practically any other area would never fetch these prices.

at $350 a pound the economics are mind boggling. This is wholesale price, imagine how expensive the Ootoro Suchi would be per piece...

there is no way that Israeli attacks will break the will of an irrational group of individuals, who refuse to fight out in the open, and cowardly lob rockets over the fence without any regard for what they will do. there will be more and more civilian casualties.

Hopefully the locals themselves will realize that the irrational policies of their leaders will result in the near extinction or outright invasion by a foreign power.

hereandthere in the middle east gasoline is at pennies a gallon. maintenance costs for the electric system would outstrip any benefits. Solar panels work best where the temperature is not so hot.

with current efficiencies for the panels, there's no way they can make a car powered directly by the panels on the roof. Perhaps only if you are allowed to use it for 30 minutes a day.

In japan the wife has the right to sue the mistress. I think she's the one who's gonna get in a lot of trouble.

The mayor should resign for all this.

I'm sure she tried to extort some money from this, but the mayor wouldnt play ball. She's just coming through on her threats. She can say whatever she wants as long as its true.
