HTC tried to do that with a 5 inch model and it bombed because they wanted too much money for it.

Of course it's not the old lady's fault, but everytime i go out at night there's tons of people walking in narrow roads (with no sidewalks of course) in the dark and wearing dark clothes. Even with my acute vision and reflexes, it's a challenge to get home without getting one of them stuck in my grill.

I wonder, if boats like Shonan Maru have a black box to keep track of the rudder and throttle for future reference. If this is something that can be obtained and not tampered with, then it should prove without a doubt that the captain turned right full rudder in the direction of the AG.

Altria's got a point with the blue boxes. The jewelry is worthless without them. Should'da gone to diamond factory or cash4gold.com.

that's a really sharp pic. I'm impressed, usually these pics are hazy, blurry or pixelated. They should get their man soon. Like with Ichihashi, someone honest out there has dealt with this guy before.

Japanese people sometimes have a poor perception of danger when traveling or living abroad.

That's why you sometimes see J-tourists traveling in Afghanistan and Myanmar.

I have sublet from Japanese in the US before, and usually it's a cash transaction off the books. Therefore, the murderer must have known the victim personally or farmed it out to an amateur.

the Japanese boat clearly changed its course to ram the Ady Gil, but the Ady Gil was also moving forward.

You can tell in the CNN video that the Ady Gil waited until after the collision to hit full reverse. They were sill going forward for the 10 seconds before impact. You would assume that a boat as agile as the Ady Gil could have hit reverse earlier and avoided the attack. These guys are gambling with their own lives here. They didn't prove much of a point, but it cost them $2 million.

There may be some navy guys here with knowledge of maritime laws, so please chime in with your comments.

As other people said in this board, their $2 mill may have been much better spent by putting posters all over Japan, and handling a PR campaign to turn public opinion around.

seems like the pressure varies with time, it must be impossible to get the same shot twice. If you leave it on too long, will it blow up on you?

Pronto is not that good. It's like a McDonalds of coffee. Illy coffee is not that good either.

Look up the Japan Barista champions. Any one in the top 15 who works in a cafe will be a good bet.

technically, she already POSED for the photo shoot, since the story says that her husband already has a lot of picture of her... i wonder what would happen to that stash when they get divorced.

Drinking by herself in a bar in Spain. Another one of these antisocial japanese girls that goes to drink alone in bars and doesn't talk to anyone. I hate it when i see that in Japan. Definitely will not be popular with the locals either.

come on stop cursing ths guy or calling him a loser. things got pretty bad for this guy, to a point where none of you have seen or will probably never see. when all hope is gone people don't think rationally. in Japan there is very little hope for people in these situations, since there is no support net. Samurai culture doesn't help either. yeah some of you may have been inconvenienced if this happened during rush hour on a weekday, what a load of bullsh**, try to be more original or show some compassion. rip.
