Oh my.
There must be some mistake.
The pressure experts like myself (if I may say so) brought on authorities running the prison at Guantanomo resulted in the most humane treatment its innocent, wrongfully imprisoned inmates could have imagined. They received Halal meals, they were allowed prayer sessions, each member of the prison population could read from his own personal copy of the Holy Koran.
To even suggest that such an environment could have created terrorists is close to blasphemy.
We do not need more Islamophobia.

A mere coincidence. In fact, it may well have been a work-related accident.

Honestly, just a handful of impressionable young men - - boys, really. The trip to Pakistan was probably a lark. I've seen many a disgruntled dishwasher threaten to go to Afghanistan or some such nonsense, all said in jest of course.

Oh my. This is distressing. Not exactly change my colleagues and I can believe in. It's as if something has radicalized Americans even more these last few months, though I am at a complete loss as to what that something could be.

I fear something has radicalized the government and people of Great Britain, and try as we might my colleagues and I at The Dearborn Kabob House cannot fathom why this atmosphere of unfounded suspicion and fear persists.

An article like this one completely destroys the pernicious myth, apparently widely believed beyond the confines of the nation's university campuses, that the media has a liberal bias. It just makes me giggle sometimes. Prospects for 2010 are looking fine. In fact, simply attacking George Bush will be enough to carry the Democrats to historic victories.

Undoubtedly an isolated incident. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it were random.

Oh my. An outcome like this is quite an embarrassment for my colleagues and I at the Dearborn Kabob House. We had predicted back in 2007 that the Blackwater incident would be the downfall of either then-President Bush or Prime Minister Maliki, or that one would leave the other twisting in the wind. But these things, kind of like the hope and change we all thought would be brought to Iraq, never came to pass. This is not a cheery start to a new year.

Thank you. A very thoughtful reply. I can see it is not only guns that must be banned, but alcohol as well.

Some very depressing news to start the new year with I'm afraid- - pollsters say 58 percent of Americans now favor the idea of waterboarding the alleged perpetrator of a failed man-caused disaster aboard a NWA jet, on Christmas Day ( a coincidence, I can assure you ).
I shudder to think that Dick Cheney has won, and all - - literally all of humanity - - has lost.
Apparently the president's eloquent and lawyerly assessment of the attempted bombing, that it was an isolated incident, did not get through to the American people. And I fear that something has radicalized large numbers of Americans.

Oh my. A lesson for all of us. Banning guns, I'm afraid, is little more than bandaging a hemorrhage. Europe needs a long, thoughtful look in the mirror.

Oh my. That the state security forces have had to intensify their crackdown is not a good sign. The trouble with democracy breaking out in Iran is that it will destabilize the region. I do believe this scenario was clearly explained before the disastrous invasion of Iraq. In Iran's case it means the terrible likelihood that Hamas and Hezbollah will no longer be able to exert the political influence that they wield in Lebanon and Palestine. Financial support from Iran's current government for political campaigns by these two groups and for their many, many other activities in the region is in jeopardy!

An excellent point! You sir, are entitled to a free shawarma next time you are anywhere near the Dearborn Kabob House. My colleagues and I are delighted to see that CAIR's outreach program has worked on at least some of our armed forces!
Indeed, I would count their efforts as being among the many elements of power President Obama has to fight "man-caused disasters," as his administration has so aptly called "terrorism." And I think USAFdude would agree with me.

Oh my. Not to be pedantic or anything but Nigeria, relative to the rest of Africa, is not poor. And it has never been invaded by the United States. So we will have to exclude those as reasons for the troubled young man's motives.
Please be more careful in such attempts at criticism; they actually validate the other side's arguments.

Oh my. It seems Canada has gone off the deep end, embraced the politics and confrontational rhetoric of the Bush era, and begun saber-rattling. My sources at the Dearborn Kabob House have received reports that Lawrence Cannon, Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, has actually interfered in Iranian politics. In his capacity as representative of the Canadian people he has gone and condemned the alleged outbreaks of violence that in all likelihood are quite probably limited to Terehan - - if not to universities campuses. (Recall my previous judgement on this matter:students will be students.)
I'm glad we have a president and an administration that doesn't feel the need to meddle, and to meddle in things they know nothing about.

The public needs to get the message that man-caused disasters, as our president so eloquently describes what some people used call "terrorism," are inevitable. People just get radicalized. We will never know what drove the young Nigerian man to such extremes. Maybe he was poor and this was some kind of blowback. But I will say this - - Janet Napolitano is doing a heck of a job.
