@nukeprotest - nope, I agree with what your saying. The world is hard and difficult and not everyone can handle it. If someone wants to off themselves let them do it. The drug idea is excelent, keeps the clean up to a minimum

I say keep the dollar low, it brings tourists in since it is now more affordable to visit the US and it prevents Americans from spending money overseas. A lot of my Euro friends are doing just that :)

These are not ordinary hackers, just by looking at the targets they hit. Like others said, this is a government backed operation. How do you think China has advanced so quickly in their weaponary? It definietly wasn't Chinese know how since all they make is junk. Bunch of thieves

@ Elbuda Mexicano - Please speak for yourself not for all us Angelinos. Something tells me, we may share a similar background except you have loyalty to Mexico were I dont. I really want to say the Mayor is in it for the publicity and more than likely this little vacation for him will bring nothing to my city. Also more than likely, anyone who reads Japan Today more than likely don't give 2 mierdas about Mexico, I know I don't.

Japan should take a play from the Chinese game book. Launch a cyber attack on them and then play stupid and condemn it with words. :)

33 bases seems a bit excessive but look at it this way, thats a much cheaper price than us keeping the whole island instead. Japan is lucky we gave it back to them in the 70s. IMO we should have kept it all and not waste our time being generous to a defeated opponent.

I'm not gonna lie, this was a fun topic. :) @chiowaruoyaji - If you like to let your significant other control your paycheck, enjoy! :) I support the family and make sure every financial aspect gets taken care of, but I am not her bank and she gets no free reign over my account.
my money is my money... money I give her/ she earns is her money. Easy as that! Cheers :D

@nec123a - hell ya, you are right on the money!
I did the same thing, I make the money so I will control the money. I gave the wife an allowance, every 2 weeks she got (15,000) when she didnt have a job. When she got a job I took it away but I also let her keep her money. I made sure all bills were paid and necessities were acquired. I wouldn't understand why any western male would allow the significant other to control the money, either they are incompetent with money and need the help or they are just tools IMO.

Its fine and dandy everyone has there 2 cents about the article but its really annoying to see comments like "There is nothing "nice" about this and its one of the backwards things about Japan" if you dont like it and live in Japan, go home! If you dont live in Japan, mind your own business. This is not Europe this is not the US, this is Japan, let them run "their" country "their" way and quit trying to make them seem like they are wrong. I love to visit Japan and I love the fact its bible thumper light compared to western countries and I never want them to change and become like us.
Sorry MOD, i know the article wasnt about this but i get tired of seeing comments like this from self proclaimed "rightous" people. feel free to delete

How can they be compared? Jobs isnt even in the same league as Edison. Edison advanced technology, Jobs advanced sales. Better to compare him with Billy Mays instead.
