volleyball players usually go for the clean image, so yes tattoos are tasteless. But thank goodness for USA it wasn't a beauty contest! Well done Brazil too, it seems like a long time since both reached Olympics finals.

Highlights: the mascot that fell by itself on one of Japan's baseball games, and was aided by another mascot but couldn't get up, I guess its head was a bit heavy! Low points: the Japan-only reports on tv.

Not good, but not worse than some other countries', although at late hours it makes you turn off the tv b/c there are so many baka-bangumi's and what's worse, the volume seems to increase the later it gets. (not to mention commercials) I do enjoy from time to time game shows and one of those children's talent seeking programs, where there are not yet on their teens kids who can play guitar, drums, and do all sorts of things you wouldn't imagine. My question: what is really a 'variety' show anyway

I'll concur with Ronin (I assume the scene where DeNiro's after Natascha as far as I can remember), and Matrix (Revolutions?) with these rasta-do's guys in white and agents and Trinity and the keymaster, etc.
