Since when does being established mean being good? Money or not, her art would be a far gone memory if it was not for the Lennon connection. But, I will admit it is a notch above her singing...ugh.

Sigh... I try to support Japanese police, but this is absolutely unexcusable. You never, ever, cuff someone in the front, unless using waist chains (watch the beginning to No Country For Old Men...) A bad pat down, improper cuffing, and this is the result. Lucky for the officers that the guy took his own life, not more.
It`s not fishy, just bad police work.

Hmm...maybe a two hour original movie, followed by 11 sequels. That`ll run us until 2026, at least.

To fill in some blanks here, it was added in US papers that the husband (who was 58) died of lung cancer and the assailants were most likely trying to get his stash of prescription pain meds. The wife (age 18...yup, 18) did the right thing by calling 911 and defending herself and child. People have the legal recourse to protect themselves...no matter where they live. Well done, young lady!

Shoulda, coulda, woulda...there is no crystal ball in law enforcement, sure wish there was. This is not Minority Report where Tom Cruise can arrest someone before a crime occurs. I am sure the police acted within their limiting legal statutes with the 23 yr old, yet no one could have seen the savage ending that occured with the other victims. Hideous crime, but all blame goes toward the killer. Not who shoulda...

I recommend studying the origins and preachings of Mormonism before judging them by their seemingly clean living behavior. It is a cult, and the secret nature of their membership, along with bigotry and racism is well noted within Joseph Smith`s flock...and his writings.
That aside, I disagree with a persons religion being the formost consideration for political office. But looking at the current lot of candidates. Romney is better qualified (not best), and we certainly do not need another Texas governor as president. I would rather vote for the unhealthy dirty drunk chewin chocolate.

A great band, yes, and still fantastic live after all these years.... but seriously, if Joe and Co. want to claim support for the people of Tohoku, then go and play a show IN Tohoku. Mr. Big. did.

And the last at bat was Alex Rodriguez. Proof, again, that having the highest payroll in the MLB does not guarentee a championship. Congrats, Tigers!

A difficult case from the onset, and not sure if justice was served at any point. Absolutely Knox was there...she admitted being whacked out on drugs, her bloody footprint was found at the scene and she willfully lied, and was convicted, of falsely accusing another person of the murder. She is no Angel. But poor investigation work by the police and prosecutors, and in the end a screwed up young lady is championed while the pain of the victims family goes on. No winners here.

This was not a man who was killed over a disagreement. He was a man who promoted, organized and instituted death against his sworn enemy, the US. Being a US citizen, this indeed is treason. And, if you forgot, the US is at war with an enemy who seeks civilians as their primary targets.
So, you can either rant about the US taking out one man who has directed murders in the past and intended to kill thousands, or read about the thousands of innocent mothers, fathers and children who were killed by one man. You pick.

Was there last night and saw the inflated basketballs atop the gate into the bowels of Shibuya. First thought the locked out NBA players were relocating to Tokyo...
Looking forward to strolling through Hockey Town and NASCAR Street someday.

Why bash the 787? Missing the point of the story here...the error was Human, and nothing to do with the plane itself. In all actuality, the design of the plane, loaded with people, luggage, fuel and jolted to a 130 degree angle , is a testament to the aircrafts durability. As for the pilots, great job of recovering this plane after a boneheaded mistake.
But seriously, the plane jerks to the left 130 degrees and drops down and backwards 1,900 meters yet no one knew what was going on cuz it was dark? Really? I want whatever drink they served on that flight....

The damage to the plane and pilot are severe enough that we may never know the cause, but recent photos of the plane in its nosedive do not visibly show the pilot. Possibly slumped over? The plane pulled from the race, shot straight up, and then nosedived at full throttle. At age 74, I think a medical issue is a place to start. The Reno Air Races will continue, but next year the seats will be so far back, you will need binoculars to see the race course.

Nothing at all to do with Fukushima. Doc Neeson has not sang with The Angles for over a year now, maybe longer. He has had continuing health problems from the past (from a car accident, I believe...along with the vodka). Gleeson has done a fine job in Docs shoes, but yeah, it just ain`t The Angels without him. My fav Aussie band, along side Rose Tattoo.

Her latest album was a complete flop and she was not going to score any awards, so basically she used the VMA`s to announce her pregnancy to steal the show and again be in the spotlight. Shameful act of self-indulgency.
But yeah, very hot...

Hmm...only 13,000 units sold so far. Not staggering numbers, actually very weak considering all the hype. Yeah, ok he can sing farely well, but acting rarily transposes to a music career. Well, except in Japan...
