I have no care about the Yakusa ties...it has no affect on the lot of us. But the idea about attacking an innocent female for not being "honoriic" is completely absurd. Makes we wish Goto had put the beat down on him rather than only leaking such news...fair play, eh Shimada.

I have absolutely no sympathy for this young lady, and absolute sadness for her family and friends. She willfully climbed atop a wet, slick railing at the top of Niagra Falls, mear feet away from torrential water rapids within spitting distance of the Falls. Ayano is not a child, she should have known better, and her reasoning is something we shall never know...same with the 3 Americans who waded into the river above Vernal Falls and were swept over. So bash my insensitivity if you wish, but this in unexcusable and 100% preventable. I`ll reserve my sadness for an unforseeable act.

Many performers are narcissistic, so these 30 year reunion tours are part money and part fulfilling their assumption that we still want to see them. Hopefully they won`t try to rekindle their ill fated "Pink Lady and Jeff" TV show.

This is a no-win situation for Obama: he is criticized for not showing the photos as proof of death, but then if he shows the pics, he will be criticized for exploiting the situation and showing such a graphic photo (two head shots? Ugh.). If the world can stomach it, I say show them...

One of the, if not the, best female vocalists in Japan. A very nice gesture! And yeah, I believe she's a solo performer, not a band.

A Goth Kimono...! Dinah Cancer of the LA band 45 Grave was dressing like this in 1982. Not sure this look is any better now.

herefornow, you can only hear him for just a few mere meters, not down the street. Hardly the definition of a public nuisance. Your effort to educate me was wasted. Find an island...

He pulls in 8 to 10,000 plus people at shows in the US, so seeing him at a small venue is a treat. But only if you like his tunes...for me, a bit to mellow, and annoying.

I agree, chill out Herefornow, or find a nice deserted mountain to live on. He is bothering no persons public rights...not more than any other street vendor does. He`s not the best, but he certainly is fun! Made me stop once for a few moments.

I highly doubt the original True Grit was based on any Samuri movie... that being said, where are the big stars? This was a great movie! Send over Josh Brolin!

I normally despise the Grammy's for being a self-gratifying ego-booster for over-hyped music junk, however I was pleasantly surprised to see talents such as The Avett Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Cee Lo Green and a few others getting the spotlight.

Lemme guess...Kyu Sakamoto had a hit with Sukiyaki in 1963. Beyond that, Pizzicato Five had 5 minutes of fame in the US with Twiggy Twiggy. Most people read "X...Japan" and were probably looking for John Doe and Exene...

While many can play the guitar well, Gary was one of few who could make is guitar speak. He was a tremendous musician, a good guy, and he will be sorely missed.
As the saying goes, if there is a Heaven, they must have a helluva band.

So now that the conspiracy folks have had their say...turns out the deceased guy had a felony warrant for kidnapping, and was on the run with his 13 yr old victim, who is the 2nd deceased person. When being questioned, he shot 2 cops. This was not a massacre, not a drug induced homicide...not even close. The bad guy shot first, the cops shot back. A sad case closed.

Well of course they want a truce. La Familia has lost all their leaders and is in complete chaos, ready to be blown into oblivion by the Feds and their rivals. In 30 days, they will be regrouped, ready to continue their slaughter. Time to drive a stake in them...and then enjoy a few tequilas.

In terms of the pilots skill, all are great. The safety of each aircraft, no complaints (except Russian airlines). I don
t even mind the added security, as its a sign of the times. Yet my gripe is with the cranky geriatric flight attendants on UA and NWA whose butts can barely squeeze between the seats. I`ll take the airport hassle and a polite asian based airline anyday, thank you.Posted in: Are you satisfied with the service the airline industry generally delivers on planes and at airports?
