I watched his career with sadness while in Seattle, as it never amounted to much more than mediocre. I`ve heard he still has a home in Fukuoka, so I hope he returns there to end his career on a high note. Time to dust off that old Hawks jersey!

Each New Years the Sci Fi channel has a 24 hour TZ marathon...worth watching every minute! Many of the stories still freak me out years later. I agree with John...a great story overshadows any billion dollar special effect. Rod Serling was a genius, years ahead of the pack.

The Olympics for fighter jets...this guy is dillusional. Sure, we all know the IOC is swayed by gifts, this has gone on for years, yet this time around Rio was the best choice on many levels. Very unsportsmanlike, Mr. Ishihara. Apparently you still don`t understand the basis of the Games.

The season is about over and Ichiro and the Mariners keep plugging away. A much improved team. Maybe when the Angels get swept away in the first round, players will jump ship and look to Seattle. Ichiro, Wakamatsu, Junior, looking good!

Carey used to be hilareous, but now he goes so far over the top, it becomes embarasing to watch. I hope he contains himself and gives this wonderful story some respect. It might actually be good, then.

Proxy... This is a very common practise in law enforcement world wide. The country who issues the warrant for a person most always sends their own officers to return with the assailant. As such, China doesn`t get stuck with travel costs and there is no legal liability on their part…
