    I agree this is not news, but rather free advertising. In any case, this is Japan, and while backwards and immorally objectifying at times, it is still their culture. Let us know when the prudes find a morally just and harmonious society.

    I agree furuiqakko, this poor child most likely had an undetected heart disorder and cardiac arrest could have occured anywhere. I know of no link between flying and fatal effects on healthy children of any age. Note the word healthy. Ear pressure and jet lag is more of a concern. No one to fault here, just a sad, sad incident.

    Yes, they were a good band, fun to watch live, and were very nice guys overall. Sadly their original drummer also died of cancer too. My Sharona is a timeless song! RIP Doug. Thank you.

    I agree with kinniku...there is no conspiracy here. Fact is MJ was hooked on paid meds, and who knows what other types of prescriptions, and it took a toll on his body. His doctor gave him a fatal dose, but probably at the demand of MJ. It will be hard to find an impartial jury for this trial.

    True Jericho8, yet Def Jam is one of many labels owned by SonyBMG. Beyonce is signed with Sony, and is powerful enough to call her own shots (rare in the music Biz). Why so popular is similar why McDonalds is popular---excessive advertising and overexposure to the population. Beyonce is no different. She is a product.

    I`d bet money that at next years Grammys, it will be the same names. It always is.

    American politicians allow drugs into America to control some of the population

    Really 13akio13? Is that what your foreign schooling taught you, or is it your assumption about a country you know little about? I think it is the latter. I do not know how drugs could control anyone, except marijuana which makes people enjoy their couch more often. A very ignorant statement.

    The Grammys are overhyped back-patting by clueless music moguls. However I was suprised that talented bands like Kings Of Leon and the Zac Brown band received awards. Nice to hear names other than Beyonce and Taylor Swift occasionally.

    Certain awards focus on the individual, not the film. While Basterds was not a classic, nor was Crazy Heart, some individual performances were. I felt Avatar was also mindless entertainment, yet fun nonetheless.

    Nice to see Jeff Bridges get some deserved recognition. And Christoph Walt was amazing in Inglourious Basterds, both definitely front runners for the Oscars.

    I am appalled by all the anti-American rants and BS conspiracy theorists. All we are trying to do is help those suffering, yet according to most of the JT crowd, our services aren`t wanted. At times I wish that the US would turn their head at ALL disasters worldwide. Suffer on your own and dig yourself out. Happy now?
