Supply and demand. Rather than legalize drugs, get rid of the demand, and make the supply worthless. Such a crazy concept apparently...

So what for some, sure, but Simon is a genius...or an evil genius. Think about it---people watch to hate him, thus increased ratings and more ad money. He promotes horrible music like that WWF record, yet it sells millions of copies. He knows what the massess will buy, and watch. This is a blow for AI, but FOX and Simon will win as he created and owns X Factor.

Truly sad story, but c`mon...elephants, tigers, etc are wild, even in a nature reserve. You take this chance when in the animals territory.

There are two types of terrorists on planes: the guy sitting quietly with a bomb in his jockey shorts, and, like 9/11, the guy who stands up with an implied weapon and physically tries to take over the plane. Truthfully, an air marshal would only be able to take on the latter. I agree with having air marshals, but understand they were created during an era where a guy pulls a weapon, stands and makes demands. If the TSA did their job, and with an air marshal on board, the chances of a safe flight are much greater.
Where they sit, how annonymous are they, gun vs. taser, when do they intervene and can a bullet down a plane, etc...so much speculation by most posters. I recommend researching what the air marshals do. I had a friend do this job for two years, and his training was immense. He also said it was the most boring gig of his life. My response to him was I hoped all his flights were boring...

I agree! And to all law enforcement in Mexico, keep your guards up. Sadly, retaliation is the norm when any big guy is busted.

A mafia Family does not refer only to biological relatives, such as uncle, brother, dad, etc. Family indicates anyone who is a member of a particular gang. And I doubt the police hands are to small. Rather most mafias are well run, have high paid attorneys and know how to circumvent the system. That is until their enemies blow them away...

LostinNagoya, the US Air Marshal program was created in 1963 by President Kennedy. That would be decades. The program downsized over the years but never went away, yet 9/11 brought it back ten fold. True the US and EI are not models for the world, but then no one seems to be trying to blow up planes elsewhere.

Air Marshals have been flying on US planes for years, as well as in Isreal, who usually has two guards per flight. They are highly trained and unknown to the rest of the passengers. In decades of flying, not one plane has been hijacked nor brought down by a bullet with guards onboard. The problem is their are not enough of them for all flights. If properly skilled, I`m for it.

Fat chance. This grandmother needs to keep her trap shut and accept the facts---she, nor her family are the biological parents. The boy is back with his birth father, leave it be.

Once I stopped basing my exhistance on money, life got better. In 2009 I quit a good paying job that was destroying me emotionally. I now make much less, yet we survive. More importantly, I have a beautiful wife and two amazing children, who I spend more time with now than ever. Yeah, I`m better off now than last year.

I actually enjoy the Oscars. Yes it is a showcase for the ashamingly rich, but still it`s an award show where often times quality of the small flicks win out over box office money monsters. The winners usually deserve it...miles apart from the Grammies.

I really just don`t care anymore. The pirates have won. If countries are willing to pay million in ransom on a regular basis, than so be it. Add in an income tax and Somalia might become a financial leader of the world.

numbskull, your original question was had there been any Taliban executions. Without names of the dead, you were given plenty of proof that yes, Taliban executes. Yet all you do is reply with more rhetoric and ignorant babbling. You have been given proper data. Your are as your postname reads...

numbskull, I recall it being the Taliban who executed that Korean man several months ago, while holding 22 others hostage. They will execute...and have.

I am with you on Janet Reno! I have disliked the Brazilian Courts since they protected an arsonist years ago who killed 4 Seattle firemen. Brazil trys to call the shots, then cowers with the thought of losing billions. Their Courts are no differnt than the thugs running their streets. Glad it`s over, but sad for the spectacle this 9 yr old kid went through. I wish him a better life now.

Heroin and Cocaine over the counter? Meth from Wallmart? Oh right, it must only be about marijuana. No, numbskull, as I`ve tried to point out before, there is more lucrative deals made other than pot. Taking away the least cash crop for these cartels will stop nothing. Take netreks advise and look up data from the FBI and DEA. Rather than feed the supply, how about seek to cure the demand. Only then will the supply be worth nothing. In the meantime, bomb them into oblivion...

Wow, the Zepp is rather intimate, compaired to the larger venues he plays elsewhere. Definitely worth seeing!
Milk the cash cow? If that were the case, he would have quit years ago. He`s a musician, and plays music because he actually enjoys it. Different than todays youngsters who are in it for the Bling Bling.

It is not over yet. The Brazilian family seems to have money and connections and might hide the poor boy, even against the directives of their own Court. I doubt the boy will be handed over anytime soon, but I pray I`m wrong.
