So it was not a sexual fixation, or an ex-boyfriend or even a stalker...he possibly killed her over an arguement concerning mice??? I would agree with Beelzebubs idea, but sounds like he`d probably bond with the rats...

No, he was not in jail, but rather a mental institution. He was acquitted, meaning not guilty due to his mental illness. Yes he did do the crime, but in Washington State he cannot be found guilty for his actions due to his mental disorder. It is an overused alibi. I agree with you Sarge, but that`s the law. Other than that, why a mental hospital would even consider taking any disturbed person, beyond a psycho killer, to a fair is beyond comprehension.

Probably a student or staff who was secretly stalking her. The person obviously knew the layout of the university building to hide the body, so it wasn`t from a random outsider. Proves we are never truly safe, anywhere. RIP, young lady.

Every genre needs at moronic blowhard, and the music industry has Kanye. He`s been an idiot before, but this time he just might have done some damage. Kudos to Beyonce for showing class. Someone needed to...

At least John McEnroe would throw tantrums that were entertaining, and he would never deny saying anything. Maybe Serena and the line judge can have a beer with Obama to smooth things out...

This area is so deep in HillBilly Land, that even the MM would stay far away. My insticts say this was a meth rage murder, but it seems several others may be involved in the attacks. The final plot will be probably something stupid, like a fight over $20...

They've had one every year of the past 10 years...and each year for the 10 years before. California burning is an annual event, and if not for the magnitude, would not be newsworthy. Arid landscape, low humidity, scrub sagebrush with dry trees in the hills, all makes for a perfect fire. Not much can be done but wait next year for the next firestorm.

There definitely seemed to be a cause to look at Thorogood more closely, but still, 40 years later? Most those with information that could be used in a Court proceeding are now dead. Yet but another brilliant musician whose death seemingly overshadows their musical legacy.

13,500 dead in 3 years is astonishing. How sad is it when a person is safer on the front line in Iraq than attending a party in Mexico. Without absolute military intervention, which won't happen, Mexico is lost. Or is already.

Your points are absolutely correct, smithinjapan. But maybe if properly trained personel have the guns, these scenarios might not play out. The pirates are untrained youths for the most part. When up against trained snipers a few months back, they lost. If the same skill level was placed on ships, the pirates would have a tough go. In any case I agree some awful scenarios could result, but something has to be done. Giving in to the ransom demands doesn't seem to be the best policy.

A legendary man, and revolutionary in the music field. A sad day, yet a great life that is honored in pearl inlays on some of the best guitars made. RIP, Les Paul.

I remain amazed how compasion is even considered toward killers who are old and ailing. These beasts had no compasion when they committed their act. The victims deserve more respect than this. I agree, screw that. Die in prison.

Football sucking is your opinon, es1980. I like football, baseball, pretty much all sports. But this was a sad event...retired ND players playing in a country where football is second in oblivion only to hockey. And the prices were sky high. No thanks. Stay in South Bend, guys.

Ludacris, meaningless Yabits? In your world, sure. But I worked several years as a parole/probation officer and saw first-hand the toll drugs take on the user, and the eventual victims. Stupidity is trying a drug for the first time. After that it is a battle to separate ones self from the craving. And do not confuse alcohol with controlled substances---few drug addicts are alcoholics, and vice versa. The cravings, the affects on the body are totaly different. To many lives are destroyed by drugs. But apparently this is hard to see for some when stoned, sitting on the couch.

It`s not that pathetically simple. Yes THC is organic, has less health affects than alcohol, and no one really commits crimes when stoned..they sit, giggle, watch TV. But THC is a gateway drug---ask the majority of meth, cocaine, heroin users what their first drug was and they will say Pot. Ever heard of Sherm? THC laced with embalming fluid. These drugs make people violent and the crimes they commit are often savage. If it were only people using solely THC, sitting baked on the couch at home would be fine. But it does not happen that way. Where this drug leads to is a bad, bad road.

That is exactly what the Jackson family will not allow---they feed off attention and will find ways to take MJ`s death to the bank each and ever day, long after the fans have moved on. Michael is the only Jackson with the capability of raking in the $$$. I wish we could move on, but unfortunately the fiasco is only begining.

...tried to catch last minute flights. What, JetBlue was packed and Timberlake couldn`t afford a private jet?

I`ll go on a limb and not place blame on the doctor. MJ no doubt took more than the prescribed amount of pain killers, way more. Probably a glove full...

Of course this was going to happen. Just watch---The initial autopsy will show MJ was mixing dozens of medicines, primarily pain meds, causing his heart to stop. The Jackson family will counter with their own autopsy and they will announce the only medication he was taking was aspirin and organic vitamins and some soy milk. And thus the debate over MJ`s death will go on forever.
