Southern All Stars and Kuwata Keisuke were tops. Mr Children, Bump Of Chicken and Spitz aren't too bad.
Must also mention Tokyo Jihen! Not a fan of Shiina Ringo's vocals but the band is great with some unique jazz and rock sounds that you don;t really hear much of in Japan.
I agree with most posters about the mainstream boy bands (can't stand Johnny's boys) and squealing girls

Quite the mix of girls in there: some of them are completely plain, I would even go ad far as to say unattractive. Others however are smokin...(Mima!)
