Prime Minister Brown needs to show his authority by liberating the imporverished people of Zimbabwe.
Britan shouldn then take control until a democratic government is elected.
If they do not kill Mugabe, then he should be sent to The Hague for trial.

SezWho2; Excuse me, but McCain wants what is best is the name of democratic freedom. John McCain doesn`t want to be a winner , he wants the best for the US and the world , including Iraq. The US will leave when we decide it is correct.
We liberated he country, and spent billions of dollars making it a thriving economy.

In Japan the LDP has been in control of a recession lasting almost 2 decades.
You can be sure if the LDP make laws to benefit anyone, it will be either the construction industry or farmers.

bamboohat; Good post. These right wing followers are accepted in Japan.
Their opions are listen to by the LDP. They should be outcasts, on the fringe of society, that no-one listens to.

rjd jr; President Bush has an unblemished military career. He is the kind of resolute commander is chief we need in Iraq.
The Iraqi government is under pressure from radicals to make the US leave.
Whatever they say we`re gonna stay until the terrorist evil doers have been removed.

tkoind2; I hope you comments about Bush are a joke. Japan politics do not care about the average guy, staying in power is the priority.
Does a party like LDP really have to care anyway when it has been in power for 60 years without any credible opposition?
I hope these LDP old fogeys are kicked out at the next election, but i expect the populous to carry on with the Status Quo.
Why can`t they have a healthy democracy like the US. We picked President Bush for 2 terms, and he has looked after us all from unemployed to millionaire.

rjd jr; The Iraqi government has been infiltrated by bad guys.
Bush served in the military with honor. How can he serve when he has completed his duty to his country.
Without the US military Iraq would be a hotbed of world terrorism. They are being defeated by the US.

adaydream; I beleive in what is best for the world. I hope common sense will end this situation.
Both nations should think how the US would behave in the same situation.
If they did this, the conflict would end,and peace and freedom would prevail.

adaydream; Bush knows exactly what is going on, and how deal with these conflicts. This is a cased of Russia showboating, when they know in reality the USA macontrols this region. Russia will not over step the mark, as they know we will put a halt to their adventures. Only the US has the support and confidence of the world to use military force for diplomatic reasons.

Betzee; Great post. Thanks for posting so much information. I learnt things from your post.
i find the situation somewhat strange that these troubles began at the same time as the Olympics.
Maybe some think, the world will be looking elsewhere whilst this conflict is on going.
