"True, but the Europeans have made an effort to resolve the issue diplomatically. The US is also going to be held to a different standard given the rationale for launching a "preemptive strike" against Iraq turned out to be baseless."
And Europe's confidence that its 'soft power' could actually be a deciding force also turned out to be baseless.
So we are back at square one.

If they read the Telegraph - and few do - they were probably more impressed by what this Brit journalist wrote recently concerning GW Bush:
"This is a man who has the courage of his convictions.
Let’s not forget how Europe does wars.
Usually we wait and wait until the enemy starts attacking, then we let them win a bit, then we fight until we are tired, then we just call the US to come over to clean our mess.
That is what happened in WWI, WWII, and the Balkans.
Bush is just showing us what a bunch of dangerous ditherers we are and we hate him for it. Naturally."

As obsessed with America as you are I thought you'd know that "coloured" is considered racist.
Hey, if he ain't careful around Reverend Jesse Jackson the country may get a prez who is a person of color, no longer male .

Actually, Iran answered with missiles that were photoshopped.
NY Times has a "blog" (thought those were only for right wing cranks...) with pics and explanations.

Listen to Obama preach. When does he get around to "clarifying" the sweetheart deal he got on his million-dollar home?
Graham's comment pales in comparison to the federal indictment of Obama's financer, Tony Rezko.

"What a lot of people HATE here, my friends, is the fact that a few nuts in power can take away the rights they pretend to be protecting, and can very well arrest you for what you write on this or any other internet site, as well as anything you say on a phone call, under the guise of protection. "
"A few nuts in power" ? Congress, the Senate and the Democrat nominee for 2008 have granted the president the means to do what the majority of Americans want the gov't to do to avert another 9-11.
The internet? - What country basically made it possible?
Cell phones? America, again.
"Grow up, people."

"In the past three decades, six Antarctic ice shelves have collapsed completely—Prince Gustav Channel, Larsen Inlet, Larsen A, Larsen B, Wordie, Muller and the Jones Ice Shelf."
Three decades of Bush climate terror, if I understand the global warming religionists here.

The US is great. I can no longer count the number of foreigners I've met in Japan and on forums such as this who like to pretend it is where they are from. Zurcronium knows what I mean...

I reckon Rove's just applying Harry Reid's Rules and is refusing to deal with people/groups polling as badly as our Dem-controlled Congress is.

"Obama ended up voting for the final bill..."
Obama is looking downright McSame.
He's pro-gun, he's pro-FISA, he's opposed to an immediate pullout from Iraq...

"Bush has the lowest approval ratings in the United States of any president since approval ratings began to be taken... Even the Republicans don't stand united with him anymore. He has lost everything. There is nothing left for him."
Bush is polling at 30, for people who put stock in such stuff.
Congress is polling at nine percent, the lowest of any Congress.
Evah.
