The more Barack Obama talks about bin Laden and Bush the more you know he is trying to distract voters from weighing results of a much more relevant test of leadership ability that he faced and failed just last year.

John McCain was for the surge in Iraq, and at a time when few gave it a chance.

    Barack Obama opposed it.

Quite an amazing story. And precisely the sort of revolutionary breakthrough that socializing out medical system will stymy.

Polls indicate American consumers are on to the Democrats' shameful election year ploy to keep gas prices artificially high.

We either get cheaper gas or a Republican Congress.

The majority of us don't care what the rest of the world thinks.

Funny, in a multicultural kind of way, how fame has a way of bringing embarrassing relatives out of the woodwork.

Obama is a lose/lose kind of candidate. So what's the problem?

The puppet Barack Obama and his master George Soros want Osama bin Laden caught so they can personally bestow upon the criminal genius responsible for 9-11 the same rights that decent, hard-working citizens of the democratic United States of America are guaranteed.

That is their idea of justice.

What is about the headline 'Iraqi violence down' that so upsets some people here? Why are those celebrating a decline in some of the most horrific and senseless violence imaginable being called "Conservative pinheads," "Wingnuts" and "Bush Jugen" ???

Is Obama the best that George Soros could buy?

“And, you know, let’s take the example of Guantanamo,” Obama said. “What we know is that, in previous terrorist attacks — for example, the first attack against the World Trade Center — we were able to arrest those responsible, put them on trial. They are currently in U.S. prisons, incapacitated."

The perp in the 93 WTC attack was caught after he tried to get back the deposit he paid on the rental van that they used to try and bring the tower down.

Mr Gore still won't debate his unproven and preposterously speculative pet theory of 'Global Warming.' The New Left's Great Whitewashed Hope should be ashamed of endorsments from hypocrital buffoons such as Al Gore.

Would the capture of Osama bin Laden even matter anymore? Great Britian is letting OBL's "right hand man in Europe" walk away from jail.

Four-Star General Colin Powell calls John McCain "the toughest man I ever met."

    I'll take his word.

McCain supported an unpopular surge in troops to Iraq and has been vindicated. Obama opposed it and has been proven wrong.

    Advantage McCain, 2 - 0.

The New Left's Great Whitewash Hope already starting the move to the center. Obama doesn't know who he is, or what he believes. The flip-flopping and all the folks he had to throw under the bus are probably the stuff of an upcoming third autobiography. But will his ghostwriter be able to dash it off before November?

It wasn't a protest. It was a parade of 2,500 fools who haven't worked out (or can't face the fact) that the incremental theft of their civil rights was not George Bush's doing.

Protests like this used to be given about ten seconds on the nightly news in America. But that was thirty years ago. They are still newsworthy in Japan?

"Obama seizes on growing disapproval of Bush policies..." ???

What Barack Obama seized was the opportunity to personify victimhood and entitlement, the New Left drama that has replaced traditional Democratic Party values. The MSM just updates the script.

Obama's mentor Frank Marshall Davis, who is simply and deceptively referred to as "Frank" in his first book, taught him well.

Recent video of Barack Obama at a rally and brandishing a large walking stick he is given as a present. His fawning admirers are immediately informed he's gonna 'whup' some people in Congress if he doesn't get his way.

My 12.33 posting should read - What is Obama's precise genetic background? Why is "black" the label (and why do Democrats need these labels?) when he is reportedly of 7/16th Arab, 8/16th Caucasian, and 1/16th African ancestry?
