Seems that by the mullahs' reckoning he is therefore waiting for a more pious, thermonuclear display of faith before he comes shooting up out of the well he has been hiding in these last one thousand years.

Two weeks ago Iran withdrew 75 billion dollars in assets kept in foreign banks, fearing sanctions by the governments these banks area accountable to would result in funds being frozen or blocked.
They were European banks.

DoD's quarterly assessment to Congress pretty much shoots down the speculation (and hopes?) of some here that Iraq is still a quagmire of some sort - hey, haven't come across that word in a while, eh.

The non-oil sector is likely to grow at 3%. Core inflation fell to 12% in 2007 compared to 32% in 2006…"
