    I'm wondering the same. In comparison to London, where the people are friendly, there's nice ample parks, good bars and restaurants, Tokyo is pretty boring. Sure it has good transport, but it is a pretty boring place…

    While I liked this show with Shaku on it, and Moe is perfectly dishy, I hope that NHK will use this opportunity to give us more of the entertaining, and sometimes nail-bitingly tense, dramas that they so often produce.

    You just mis-understand how drama should be. If only western dramas had lots of tears, shocked looks, unintentional comedy and wild overacting, they could enjoy some of the international success seen by many Japanese dramas over the years.
