Probably a gaijin hunter having a last fish before going home. Must say, this kind of thing has happened to me a few times too.
On another occasion, quite a while ago but still vivid, I've sat in front of a lass and seen her deliberately open her legs.
There's a lot of sex going on in this country I think.

Get a couple of kids then you need a bigger flat. Want a flat with more than one or two rooms and you end up somewhere miles from town in somewhere like Saitama or Kanagawa. If you want a good quality of life, then you need to keep the number of kids to only one or at most two.
There's no-way I'm buying a house in this country.

Thankfully Tokudane sent some reporters to America to cover this very important event. Using their best investigative skills, they showed photos of Amuro to random people in the street asking if anyone had seen her. Somewhat worryingly, no-one could recall this. Rest assured, I'm sure they will continue looking into this.

Yeah, but think about the short term consequences. Should any such celebrity be arrested, there will be wall to wall coverage of several hours a day including detailed analysis and debate, on all the channels.

This is unimaginable. There are no benches anywhere so if you want to sit down and relax in this country you have to pay for a cup of coffee or tea. There is always a high demand for seats, compounded by many people who will spend close to 6 or 7 hours with one drink while they read a book or even sleep.

They might look alright, but going on a date with one of these would probably be about as interesting as watching paint dry. I can easily imagine the mind-numbingly boring conversation you'd have about nail varnish, clothes, cute pets, and, no doubt, food.

Really, I think you can question the value of any academic qualification in and of itself. I have friends who left school with no qualifications but are millionaires. On the other hand, many PhDs I know are struggling on 5 million or probably less a year. If you have a really goofy personality with no social skills but a top notch MBA, you'll probably still struggle to get a good job. More to life than just qualifications in my opinion.

I think it's a lot easier to enjoy this country by avoiding use of rush-hour transport in major cities.
Or avoiding going to places where the natives will be out in full force, like temples at new year's, anything to do with shopping, anywhere with cherry blossoms/koyo. Avoiding the trains is only one way to have a better quality of life in Japan.

Basically we're spoilt for choice here in Japan. There's always something interesting on the TV. It's a competitive market.

You can travel anywhere in the World for work and use English. Learning Japanese is, while interesting, largely a waste of time when you could be concentrating on something else.
As in most things, I suspect they will dither on this for 10 or so years, then finally begin to introduce some significant changes. That said, in the 5 or so years I've been here, there seem to be more foreigners in Tokyo. I haven't faced trouble renting apartments recently either. Whether this is just to do with me or is a more general trend, I'm unsure.
